  1. Bought a Darkglass pedal from Paul, who offered it in new condition but a very reasonable price considering. Great communication, and he took the well packaged parcel to the post office as soon as he'd received payment!
  2. I wonder if this is the actual amp head Dave Bronze used at Live at Hyde Park 1996 which I had on VHS. He had one sitting on a Trace 4x10. Beautiful, and a fantastic price
  3. Come to this post anytime the wood truly is gorgeous, even better than in the photos
  4. Thanks Crawford hope all is well in your world too! Yeah I wanted to spend more time with it and I don't expect it to sell without a part trade deal of some kind. It's certainly no loss if I get to hold onto it!
  5. This was your amp Gilles! I only sold it to fund my beloved fretless '79 Musicman Stingray, and if I hadn't had all my gigs cancelled this year, I would wish to buy it back
  6. I agree. Gilles is the man in the know, and the man to trust. And I love this bass
  7. Apologies for going off topic, but can you tell me what brand/model of bass that is in the background? I love it
  8. Moollon??? That's my main gigging bass back home!!! I think a catch up is long overdue. I'll PM you as I don't wish to get you off topic here
  9. What are you holding on to? The Lakland is in fantastic condition and from a great build period. I have been keeping an eye on his new basses D. Lakin, as he'll soon be bringing out a new version of the Shark bass, with the combination of J & MM pickups
  10. Beautiful bass at a great asking price. I think I remember this when it was new!
  11. Yep, that's my UV70 5 string. It's been modified to be more like a Tokyo model which predated the Metro line. It has dots, a Badass bridge and Luminlay markers on the neck edge
  12. Imperial Matthew Garrison shape with custom specifications. 4000-4500 GBP is the ballpark amount of cash I would look for to be included in a trade with a fretted bass I am looking for. I am enthusiastic to negotiate part trades for your: early 1970s Jazz bass, especially naturally highly relic'd, not mint condition. Lakland USA Joe Osborn 4 string Jazz bass. Pre-EB Musicman Stingray. Moollon J5 Stunning single-cut bass made in the Fodera workshop in Brooklyn, NYC. This is not the Standard bolt-on model. 2009 build. Buckeye top. Walnut body. Ebony fingerboard. Fodera/Duncan singlecoil pickups with buckeye covers. Matching buckeye ramp. Extended B string. 26 'fret' positions. 34" scale. 19mm string spacing at the bridge. 48m nut width. Fodera premium padded gig bag. Excellent overall condition. Some minor surface bumps which are unnoticeable unless closely inspected. 3 band EQ with selectable mid frequency selector and coil tap switches.
  13. I'm considering part exchange offers. Late 60s/early 70s Fender Bass, in all aesthetic conditions, receiving approximately half the asking price of the Fodera.
  14. I have the same wonderful cabs. If the buyer for some reason doesn't want the covers, I'll happily take them
  15. 2 x 10@ speakers + tweeter Lightweight and easy to carry - 12.6kg Narrow vertical dimensions 400w RMS power handling The benefit of 4 ohms allows maximum headroom from most amp heads. A fantastic standalone cab Includes fitted protective cover Postage extra but I will find the most reasonable price for this
  16. Italian-made analogue bass compressor. Overall condition new but has velcro on base. Sound samples on the link below: https://www.nemphasis.com/en/prodotti/vt-comp-bass-optical-compressor.html £110 including UK postage
