Paul if you really want to torture your lug 'oles further P.M. me you address & i'll send you a c.d. we recorded it at Funtime studios in Harrogate, sadly no longer there , about 4 years ago.there are 12 tracks on it,mostly covers but some origional stuff too, we recorded & mixed it in 1 weekend for the sum of £150 + several cases of beer as for the song on the video its our cover of a song by the Hoax (who have now sadly disbanded) cheers Neil.

  7.
Face up to it, you'll never burn an instrument like Hendrix.
lol i could probably shag one like him though.
  8. this is bloody incredible http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=D7oKT6xz-k8&...ted&search= mmm think i'll go home & burn my basses
  9. absolutley love that fretless
  10.
'Proper' is relative to your point of view. The bass guitar is only about 50 years old, who knows what it will evolve into, with so young an instrument we should surely be looking forward to the future of it, and embracing it's expanding role, not living in the past. The electric guitar started of as an acoustic with gut strings, and what about the modern keyboard, look at all of its predecessers.
The Funk's correct,I'm only kidding, chill out, use your sense of humor, enjoy life
  11. yeah i been looking at that, very nice.
  12.
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant .........! But...... Why? Mad as a box of frogs!
agreed. its a good job there's a propper bass player there too

  15.
JB, I use GHS Fast Fret (£4.99) on my flatties after I have played and they are sliky smoooov when I come to back to play....... Like baby oil on a freshly shaved bea.............. (porn alert!)
....ver

  17.
I almost bought a Jaguar bass yesterday - it played and sounded nice but will be trying out a couple of others before I make a decision... though I have a feeling it'll be the Jag I'll end up getting. Mark
buy it you won't regret it, i absolutely love mine to bits

    Oh, God

    looks buggered to me
  19. Drums Chad Smith Bass Jack Bruce Guitar Stevie Ray Vaughn Vocal Ronnie James Dio strange mix i know, but all masters of their art.
  20. Fender bass 1V i don't know why i just want one.
  21. I'd go for the ashdown perfect 10 mini rig too.mind i bought one a few weeks back. sound wise i'm very pleased with it,not shure about me neighbours though
  22.
wow if i didn't know any better i would have thought that was an old bass. Fender really did get what they wanted with this one, didn't they?
yes its a beauty for shure + i still can't believe how nice it plays & sounds.i'd recommend one of these to any body. btw the neck is even slimmer than my Jazz bass with a very low action which makes it a really fast player for those mid-gig Flea style solos (I wish)
  23.
At the moment I'm listening to a lot of Ian Dury and the Blockheads. Norman Watt Roy is a genius! Andy
he's a real nice bloke too,i've met him 3 times when we supported Wilco Johnson at Fibbers in York. as for favourite band/bassist Cream Jack Bruce RHCP Flea Black Sabbath Geezer Butler Iron Maiden Steve Harris
  24. Modulus Flee bass don't care what colour 'cos i can't afford it anyway its just nor fair.
