Have you tried booking under the guise of a pothead that wants to have a mini rave and damage all the equipment? I believe they are welcomed

The 1st gen Shure glx can be found for £200 these days (i got mine for this b.i.n on eBay a couple of years ago) Really can't go wrong with that!

Sorry to hear your bad experience OP! We used to use pirate when they first started (Nottingham location) and for a while it seemed great - very clean, decent gear, plenty of availability - but it went downhill very quick. Their reliance on gimmicky ai customer service is incredibly frustrating and they don't seem to want to maintain their equipment. Take your business elsewhere! If anyone needs rehearsal space in Nottingham check out Stave Rooms 🤟

Have you tried richtone?

Pubs and venues to be protected from noise complaints
Gank Bass replied to Cliff Edge's topic in General Discussion
Brings back fond memories of the police being called to a pub gig on the lovely Birmingham waterfront. The complaint came from a nearby docked boat, maybe float off?? -
Hello all, I'm currently using the voodoo labs hx stomp current doubler but I'm looking for right angle cable options to prevent damage from it sticking out. I found an adapter thanks to a Reddit thread but on testing it the unit wouldn't power up. Any proven suggestions? EDIT adapter was in a pack of 2. Second one worked 🤦♂️ thread can be closed whilst I clean the egg off my face

Well done for persevering! I think I would have lost my head in a blind rage over a no show! I get mardy enough with other members turning up late without a good excuse/doctors note/hand written letter from mum saying they've got the shits

2 pints before the gig, you'll be fine

Over the last few gigs I felt like I was bringing too much stuff and causing myself tap dancing problems, unwanted activation and cancellation of effects due to big feet Vs cramped board. Decided to downsize and condense from a very crowded temple audio duo 17 to a much more considered rock board 2.1!

Thinking of selling my custom built bass. Body is basswood from a Westfield, with the neck pocket re-routed to correct the scale length for a jazz neck. The neck is from. Harley Benton jazz bass, maple and rosewood. The plates are tort, hand made by myself. Pickups are the EMG Tom Araya set with an added TKO killswitch. I will also include a Ritter thunderbird gig bag. Open to offers! It's by no means factory finish but it plays and sounds great, it's just on the heavy side!

Currently in the process of downsizing my live setup so this is next on the block! Temple audio duo 17 with red sides - a couple of the holes have been widened for previous configurations, in the end if switched to 3m dual lock so there's foamy leftovers on the top but this will scrub off! Included is the Harley Benton AC power supply with the temple audio switched AC mod for easy access Also included is the temple audio di mod I will leave on the led strip lights, just cheapo Amazon job but they do the trick And lastly it comes with a well fitted abs case For the whole package I've put £200 but make me an offer 😊

In the process of downsizing my board as I get to grips with hx stomp Boss geb7 - good condition - rubber pad replaced with dual lock - £50 Radial big shot aby - good condition - dual lock on the back - £70 Dunlop bass wah - works perfectly but slight aesthetic modifications have been made.. and dual lock - £50

Well there we have it! Thanks for the peek behind the curtain 😊

I remember seeing some tin foil special saying that glasto is the unspoken official BBC staff summer holiday - they take thousands of staff, mostly put up in hotels/bbs in the surrounding area for a week with days either side. This was based on the amount the BBC spend to have a presence (license payer funded of course) Vs how miniscule the viewing figures/indirect revenues are for their glasto contents. It's probably bs but I kinda believe it?

Its got the Coachella effect now, more of a photo op for a lot of people

That went totally above my head but I am in awe

We did actually get loads of bookings that referenced seeing her on our Instagram so it can pay off if you're selective. I did struggle to get the strap over her for those wondering..

Nothing wrong with taking the odd freebie if its going to pay dividends down the line, we once took a freebie playing for Katie price just because we wanted to see how big they are irl 🫡

I suggested they change their name to Metallica instead

Could you talk me through the Morningstar? I'm seeing them more and more these days but I'm totally uninitiated with midi
