1.
No problem. I'm not quite sure what it is you're trying to do, though. If you're trying to use the Crying Bass as an expression pedal (which I'm not sure is possible, you would have to check and see if it's compatible), you would need to take the Crying Bass out of your main signal chain and connect the rest of your inputs and outputs as normal, then plug the output of the Crying Bass into the "Expression Pedal" input on your Enigma. If you're not trying to use an expression pedal at all and are just a bit confused about it all, then you wouldn't use the Expresion Pedal input on your Enigma at all. Just plug into the Input as normal. In this case, no it won't matter where the Crying Bass goes in your chain. You might want to put it first so that it sits on the right hand side of your board and is easiest to access with your foot but other than that just have fun with it. As above, part of the fun is playing around with you signal chain. There you are, clear as mud I'm sure. Paul
That is very helpful. Thanks
2. That's great thanks Paul. I'm just little concerned about the Enigma/Bass Wah relationship. The Enigma has an 'expression out' line on the same side as the input. Does this automatically mean you put the wah before it? When I tried that, there was no sound at all coming from the output...
3. HI. If I listed the entire range of pedals I own, could someone please suggest an order in which they should be connected please? I'm particularly concerned about the 'Expression pedal out' on my new Enigma Q Balls in relation to the new Crying Bass. Here goes: EHX Steel Leather Boss CS3 Comp Ashdown Chorus Plus EHX BIg Bass Muff Pi EHX Micro Q Tron EHX Enigma Q Balls EHX Crying Bass Hope any of you can help. T
4. Bought Andy's Q Balls Enigma. Super courteous guy to deal with. It arrived pristine and in amazingly quick time. Massive thumbs up. Tony
5. Wpw. They had one in Banks of York until middle of last year. Lovely.
6. The guitar combos look and sound great. If these are an alternative to Ashdown MAGs then great.
7. Hi. Forgive my ignorance but are you able to run this as 'preamp' into a MAG300 15? Or bypass the head part of the Mag combo? Sorry if this is complete madness.
8.
Yes. I had the very same setup and it was a boss little rig!
OK. Doing some sums. A massive step up from my Mag300 then? Will contact the OP shortly.
9. I would if it was there! I'm aware of having one on my old phone. But it's not showing now.
10. Sorry. I still have no mobile version...
11. I'm on an Android S4 and am having trouble accessing the mobile version. Anyone help?
12. He got the white btw. With Shelby stripes.
13. My lad's just got the PS. The sound is massive. Maybe not as 'defined' as a P, but huge nonetheless. Finish is superb on it.
14. Hi. What do you fancy trading for? If you can wait until payday on Friday I'll take this please. Tony
15. I've been listening to Savages. It'll be a while before I get anywhere near that sound.
16. Hi. You lads helped launch our EP back in June. Good to see/hear you!
17. Great tune, well recorded. These lads are brill live too.
18.
That is good to know.
Cheers. :-)
19.
You try and tell the young people of today that - they won't believe you.
Ha. I know. The idea of record shopping for some young kids is rather odd.
20.
Wow! I hope he knows how lucky he is .
He does. He's never been spoilt like some and has worked really hard for his guitar grades as well as his gigging successes. He's getting quite the reputation locally. He was playing on a Squier VM Jag SS which he's keeping. To be honest, we've had a very lean three years as a family; it's nice now that he's able to pick up on our better fortunes.
