1.
Hi. I have a Fender Japan 62 Jazz bass in 3t sunburst. Would you be interested in a swap for my bass and money on top for the AV74?
Hi. Yes definitely. please send me pics and details via email.
2. Pics now up in OP and here: https://goo.gl/photos/az55ytny4AT9BoNg8
3.
Thundercat. One of the coolest human beings alive. Who also happens to be a bass player. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBpwKNbcuMA
When you need another bass player on stage, it's not cool. His other bassist IS cool. *i do quite like TC tho.
4.
Someone asks, what makes a 'cool' bass player. Well... 1 .not having a bassface for starters 2. not sweating profusely 3. being able to playing complex lines without looking at the fretboard, but preferably being able to have a drink/ciggie/chat with bands mates while doing so 4. not having a foot on the monitor 5. not doing the devil horn thing / saluting the crowd / sticking out your tongue
Definitive.
5. Hi. Up FS is my unmarked, barely touched, one month old American Vintage '74 Jazz. All case candy unopened and case as new. This has travelled from Steve James Guitars where it was bought new, to mine, and sat in case since, from one week before xmas. I'll add pics when I get home. It's this one. http://shop.fender.c...0191030800.html If you need the weight, I'll try and get it to work tomorrow. Trades for lower value Fender Jazz basses only. Based in North Yorkshire but could meet by negotiation. Please, please, please, no ridiculous low ball offers. 6. Having heard nearly everything recorded by him I can honestly say his work on electric piano with Miles (particularly 'Stuff') exhilarates more than anything.
7. One month old AVRI '74 Jazz. Never left house. Trade?
8. Does anyone know if there is a specific pickguard for the '74? (AVRI) It's come with black but I'd like Tort. It doesn't necessarily need the holes for thumbrest or pickup cover as I've taken those off. Did anyone use Tort with the '74?
9. Not to trust a band who espouse peace, collectivism and democracy, but who are actually only concerned with free lifts and legal highs.
10. I had one gift in total this year, an Ashdown Touring 220 I bought locally off a Gumtree vendor after leaving work on Christmas afternoon. I should have wrapped it. Happy Christmas to me.

12. Handshake Drugs by Wilco. Great for warming up but varied enough to be a little challenge.
13. Hi. Is this still for sale?
14. I owned one. Bought for 220 in mint condition and sold for 220 in mint condition. I'd have been happy to keep it but made the mistake of trying a Classic '50s from Fender... the nexk was so much nicer. However, I also owned the '50s Strat (in Olympic White) and '60s Custom Tele. I really ought to have kept those!
15. Does anyone know if there is a regular 10 hole tort pickguard will fit the '74 Jazz?
16. Hi mate. How much would postage be please?
17. At 16, in 1987, I was obsessed with Roxy Music's early stuff. Everything from their debut to Siren.
