2.
I am fairly pleased with winning this. Just hope it sounds good. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291517444823?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Ah you bugger, it was you who I lost out to! I was too slow responding to your final bid Enjoy, and, er, if it doesn't work out for you......
3. Tim bought another cab from me last night, as ever an absolute pleasure to deal with
4. With an incoming little Ashdown head and various other irons in various other fires it's time to move some things out of the way: GK MB200 SOLD PENDING Bought in 2011 from Bass Direct, this has been an excellent little amp. Loud enough for gigging loud with the right cabs and perfect for smaller gigs and home practice. £145 posted to the UK Ashdown Mi10 cab - BOTH SOLD 8 ohms, gigged twice after being bought earlier this year. Immaculate except for some foot marks from another Mi10 cab (which itself may go up for sale next week...) £110 posted to the UK
5. I don't do patience well I keep looking at these pics and finding more grain patterns that I missed on the last look, it's so cool!

9. Bump for the Quartermaster, make me an offer
10. Gotta say I quite fancy the new RM110 cab they are brining out...
11. I have a Rootmaster 800 on back order with Ashdown. Looks like they're shipping next week so should be able to report back soon As for the plywood, I suspect you're correct!
12.
How about a slapping and tapping masterclass.. a good hour or so at decent volume...
Good idea, but it has to be run by three or four people at the same time I think?
13. I heard a rumour that it's a rebadged and restyled ABM610. How much truth there is in that I'm not sure... Haven't played through one though I'm afraid.
14. Would you be interested in selling the Little Bastard...?
15. That's another flippin Ashdown bargain right there! GLWTS
16. Somewhat embarrassingly I didn't even look back at this thread because we found someone; turned out he wasn't ideal so it's back to the drawing board so I'll try these guys. Thanks
17.
Oh sh*t, yeah it's Solid State! Christ knows where the valve but crept in! Apologies guys haha
Haha never mind! Bet it sounds killer

19. Everything has gone now except the Quartermaster, someone must want a little loopy thingamibob
20. Does it have a valve in it? I thought these were solid state? Very rare amp nonetheless, good luck with the sale
21. I keep coming to look at this.... Stop saying encouraging thinks about it....
22. PS I've never had any issue with any of the Ashdown's I've owned (on my 2nd ABM EVO II, had a CTM100 as well which was ace); also got an RM800 on order for which I have high hopes I think the reliability thing was way back when they first moved production of some parts to China but they are far far better now than they were. They have readily admitted to making mistakes and learning lessons with things like the MAG reliability, Superfly and Little Giant series. I'd have no problem trusting the new ABM EVO IV
23. The new ABM600 has a lifetime warranty I believe. Tonally it is supposed to be an ABM500 EVO III on steroids, and what I heard at the London Bass Show would back that up. Have to say their Foundation cabs sounded nice too.
24. Our main guitarist has fractured a finger and is out of action. We have three gigs, one every Saturday, in the period he's been told to keep his finger in plaster. Honestly it's ridiculous and OTT but there we go. Standard pop/rock covers fare, two gigs in Surrey and one in Borehamwood. We have tried EVERYONE we know to no avail. If you can think of anyone please please please pass me their details
25. Could all the trouble at Calais/Channel Tunnel/Ferries have anything to do with it?
