  1. I tried but failed... Must have been the '76 T Bird.
  2. SOLD As far as I know this is a original example. My knowledge is limited, so please feel free to correct me if necessary. (Astrays & thumb rest probably not) It weighs in at 11lb which is too much now in my advancing years but it sounds immense and is a pleasure to play with the 'A' neck if that floats your boat. I can ship in a hard case including UK postage.
  3. Received Peter's Atlas compressor earlier today. Faultless transaction, kept me informed along the way and packaging was spot on 👌. Thanks again Peter.
  4. @Jack Did you resolve this? I can't recall it being an issue when I owned it. Saying that, it wasn't played that often. I'd quite gladly buy it back though 😉.
  5. Currently for the Revolt & HX One. I have a Source Audio midi adapter ordered to link the Atlas. This is my 1st venture into midi. It's a steep learning curve for me but the Morningstar software is pretty good 👍
  6. Gorgeous, sparkly, unmarked 2024 Stingray Special. Home use only, inc Hipshot D tuner & Schaller strap buttons. Strung with new Hybrid Slinkys. Mono case. Just not getting the use that it deserves. Price includes UK postage or collection welcome. *£1800* Any questions, please ask 🙂

  7. I believe that the body will require routing to accommodate the new Dingwall 'minimalist' bridge. I fitted the early Payson bridge to a NG3, which didn't entirely cover the earth wire rout. A grommet was supplied to fill the gap which was just about acceptable. As mentioned above, the current Payson bridges do not have this issue.
  8. This is the board I tend to use for rehearsals.
  9. Good to deal with Brian again. As usual a faultless transaction, great comms & excellent packaging. Thanks again Brian 👍
  10. This is a proper bargain. The Sonar 3 Pre is the icing on the cake, I have it fitted to mine. Have a bump ✨️
  11. I'll bring it along to your bass bash next year Rob.
  12. Kings Rd Vintage sent me the photos of the internals all those years ago but no mention on the neck plate discrepancy. That really was my only concern when I checked it out. I'm not going to change it though.
  13. Well, thanks again for all your collective knowledge, I doubt that I would have noticed in a month of Sundays re the tuner baseplate stamping. It is reassuring to know that I didn't buy a 'load of junk' as one USA forum contributer suggested.
  14. This board is doing what I require atm. A Bright Onion 3 button aux switch is on its way though.
  15. Thanks for all your replies. I have the original ? strap buttons & pup/bridge covers in the case. I'll do a few more photos when I'm back in UK later this week. 👍
  16. 1965 Precision... It would be greatly appreciated if you guys in the know could advise me if I bought a bitsa, which I purchased over 10yrs ago from Kings Rd Vintage? The only thing that bothers me is the neck plate serial, which relates to a late '50s P. ? Anyway, it's such a joy to play and was always going to be a keeper. Supposedly, it was the house bass at Shangri-La recording studios. Arrived with period correct case with 'Mountain Dew Boys' stenciled on it. I can provide more photos if required. Thanks 😊
  17. Ok, so here is my Sandberg trio. Current favourite is the blue one, especially after the Sonar 3 pre implant which calmed down the hi-fi sound of the bass. I was close to moving it on.

  21. Coral Red Player 2 in excellent condition, no dings or scratches. After market parts fitted : EMG GZR Pickup/pots kit. Hipshot KickAss 4 bridge. Hipshot Tuners inc Xtender. Schaller strap buttons. DR Black Beauties.
  22. Excellent FET compressor in as new condition in original box. PSU required, (9v 125ma, negative center) as not supplied as standard. Bought 3 months ago from Gear4Music, now surplus to requirements. Clean Velcro applied to underside, rubber feet included.
  23. For sale is my NG3 in unmarked condition. Home use only and never gigged, zero fret wear. The bass has been fitted with a Payson one piece bridge which, imo, is a huge improvement on the standard monorails. A 6 position selector switch is fitted which allows more tonal variation across the three pickups (standard parts are included). Neck block markers sourced from 'Neck Illusions' are easily removed if required. Strung with DR Black Beauties 45-105, standard barely used strings included. Comes with unmarked Dingwall gig bag. Price includes UK postage or local collection welcome. Any questions, please ask. Ian
