  1. I hadn't owned a fretless for over 30 years. Now have these beauties and loving them.
  2. Just received a compressor from Darren. Got a good deal, quick postage and excellent packaging. Great comms too. Thanks again Darren πŸ‘
  3. Yeah. Unless there was a serious issue with it, surely an allen key & screwdriver would have sorted that out?
  4. David Gage 'The Realist Soundclip' pickup for Double Bass. In excellent working condition. I don't have the original box but will be well packaged. Price includes UK postage
  5. Deleted
  6. Looking back on this thread, it was yourself that suggested the Boswellia. So I took a punt on it, started off on two a day initially and reduced to one over the last few months. All is good πŸ‘
  7. I've had excellent results using Boswellia extract. Both thumb ip joints are now pain free, took about 2 months to kick in. Snake oil? I dunno, I'm happy with the outcome.
  8. Thanks to @stevel my quest for a Aerodyne has been fulfilled. A cracking bass in as new condition and good to meet a fellow Basschatter.
  9. I tried the synth before comp and back again and didn't notice any discernible difference across the presets. Could be my hearing of course πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ.
  10. Sold my MS-60B+ to Alex. Fast payment, great comms and was a pleasure to deal with. What's not to like. Thanks again Alex πŸ‘
  11. I'm running Atlas compressor, MXR Bass Synth, MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe into Tech21 XB Driver. That's using presets on the synth. I'll have a mess about with it later. All is good atm though.
  12. I've sold a few redundant bits of kit recently and taken a punt on this. It arrived yesterday, 4hrs later into rehearsal. Sounds great on the presets so far. Guitarists reacted positively...
  13. I have that Hipshot retainer kicking around somewhere. I'd be happy to post it for you to check it out. Ian
  14. Thankfully, I've been divorced 40yrs now, so my living room now resembles a recording studio. πŸ™„
  15. As new condition, in original packaging. Price includes UK postage.
  16. Why not. '65 P, gigged the same day it arrived. A good few years ago now, though there was a backup in case it crapped out on me.
  17. Very good condition, in original packaging. Clean Velcro on underside. Price includes UK postage.
  18. I ended up going down the BT7 route. A very slight ream was required to accommodate the ferrule. Done two Cal2's now. All good πŸ‘
  19. The cull continues. In excellent working order, fully updated. Slight marks on upper surface, clean Velcro on the underside. In original packaging with PSU & paperwork. Price includes UK postage.
  20. As new in original packaging. A nice bit of kit but no longer needed. Price includes UK postage.
  21. Absolutely, thanks for your input. Unfortunately your sound remedial suggestions are wasted on me πŸ˜• I had factored a bridge replacement into the price and have since sold a load of dusty old gear to the lady that I bought the bass from, which eases the pain somewhat πŸ˜…. I'm in communication with a guy in Beverley, North Yorkshire that can sort it out for me πŸ‘
  22. BT12. As new condition. Was fitted to a 2018 Jazz Elite. Price includes UK postage.
  23. As the title, all as new in working order. Original packaging. Nice bit of kit if you're into this sort of stuff πŸ‘. Price includes UK postage.

  24. Well, thanks again for all the collective help /advice. I have a jazz trio on the go, currently using a mix of electric fretted / fretless. I've depped on a few gigs for a couple of rockabilly bands using a '76 Jazz whose DB players have damaged themselves (building site related injuries). The other band is a 6 piece function covers band which is irrelevant here. I do need a setup, strings and lessons but have sorted the correct height of the bass and stance sorted out for myself. All the best πŸ‘
