  1. Absolutely, thanks for your input. Unfortunately your sound remedial suggestions are wasted on me πŸ˜• I had factored a bridge replacement into the price and have since sold a load of dusty old gear to the lady that I bought the bass from, which eases the pain somewhat πŸ˜…. I'm in communication with a guy in Beverley, North Yorkshire that can sort it out for me πŸ‘
  2. BT12. As new condition. Was fitted to a 2018 Jazz Elite. Price includes UK postage.
  3. As the title, all as new in working order. Original packaging. Nice bit of kit if you're into this sort of stuff πŸ‘. Price includes UK postage.

  4. Well, thanks again for all the collective help /advice. I have a jazz trio on the go, currently using a mix of electric fretted / fretless. I've depped on a few gigs for a couple of rockabilly bands using a '76 Jazz whose DB players have damaged themselves (building site related injuries). The other band is a 6 piece function covers band which is irrelevant here. I do need a setup, strings and lessons but have sorted the correct height of the bass and stance sorted out for myself. All the best πŸ‘
  5. J-Retro 01 Deluxe pre-amp (pre-shape). As new in original packaging. Chrome plate with Fender style knobs. Price includes UK postage.
  6. Thanks for that your reply πŸ‘ Well, it's home, very pleased with it and looking forward to the journey ahead. A setup & strings, as mentioned in the above posts are fairly imminent but I'm getting a decent noise out of it, as is.
  7. Thank you. Would you have any suggestions for that style. I get that string choice is personal but any guidance would be gratefully received. Ian
  8. Another bloody rabbit hole πŸ˜„
  9. Ok, for better or for worse, I've done a deal at Β£900 subject to viewing on Saturday. I'll report back. Thanks to all for your advice, I'm sure I'll be back for more. All the best πŸ‘
  10. Thanks for your input guys. I'll go and have a look at it. I've talked my D B player mate into coming along so will see how it works out.
  11. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1238010064525230/ https://ebay.us/m/S5NwaJ As an electric bass player for over 50yrs, I've never been down the DB route. Obviously, I haven't got a clue but nothing ventured, nothing gained. I've done research on these but as always, everyone has differing opinions. There are a couple of rockabilly guys around here who could possibly try it out for me, it's only 25 miles away. I'm sure the price is negotiable, lots of variables I guess. Is it worth a punt ? Cheers Ian
  12. Very nice P bass in good working order. One ding on lower edge, otherwise in good condition. Price includes shipping in a generic hard case. Ashtrays & tug bar included.
  13. This crash landed yesterday. Out of the box into rehearsal last night, just needs a tweek on the setup. I like it πŸ‘
  14. Lee, I've been down that route. Alcohol numbs the pain but nearly cost me my life. Hang on in there. It will get better πŸ‘
  15. Done, all the best πŸ‘
  16. I tried but failed... Must have been the '76 T Bird.
  17. SOLD As far as I know this is a original example. My knowledge is limited, so please feel free to correct me if necessary. (Astrays & thumb rest probably not) It weighs in at 11lb which is too much now in my advancing years but it sounds immense and is a pleasure to play with the 'A' neck if that floats your boat. I can ship in a hard case including UK postage.
  18. Received Peter's Atlas compressor earlier today. Faultless transaction, kept me informed along the way and packaging was spot on πŸ‘Œ. Thanks again Peter.
  19. @Jack Did you resolve this? I can't recall it being an issue when I owned it. Saying that, it wasn't played that often. I'd quite gladly buy it back though πŸ˜‰.
  20. Currently for the Revolt & HX One. I have a Source Audio midi adapter ordered to link the Atlas. This is my 1st venture into midi. It's a steep learning curve for me but the Morningstar software is pretty good πŸ‘
  21. Gorgeous, sparkly, unmarked 2024 Stingray Special. Home use only, inc Hipshot D tuner & Schaller strap buttons. Strung with new Hybrid Slinkys. Mono case. Just not getting the use that it deserves. Price includes UK postage or collection welcome. *Β£1800* Any questions, please ask πŸ™‚
