  1. Ooooo Might have to take a pic of the controls for that @stewblack. It really is a great pedal.
  2. I'm loving my Source Audio Spectrum. Great squelchy funky goodness.

  5. Just wanted to give Will at Bass Bros a shout out. I just bought an MIJ 62 Jazz in Fiesta Red and its bloody lovely. Plays great, light weight and has the classic punchy Jazz sound. I couldn't try the bass so bought on the description and the photo's. Pretty much unmarked and zero fret wear. Very happy. It was well packaged and arrived on time. Recommended.
  6. I should have asked. Is there anyone on the forum that can either get or make a gloss black pick guard for the Sterling Shortscale Ray?
  7. Great looking bass, congrats.
  8. You have a couple of choices when removing paint. You can (carefully) sand it off, or use a heat gun (again, carefully) with a scraper. Nice looking bass btw
  9. They call it a volume boost, but in the 'normal' position its cut. Then when pressed its at its full volume. A bit unnecessary really, for me anyway.
  10. Hi all. I've just bought a shortscale sterling ray and want to do a couple of tweaks to it. The first is to change out the push/push volume pot. I'd rather have a normal volume control and adjust it as I want. Secondly, I can't find an 'off the shelf' replacement pick guard. I'd like one in gloss black 3 or 4 ply. That's it for now. Ta.
  11. Just bought Ash's Sterling by EBBM Shortscale Ray and it's a revelation. Light weight, easy to get around, well built (for the money). What's not to love? Already thinking about a couple of mods, just because. Thanks again Ash.
  12. Another +1 for Ash. Great communication, and the bass was exactly as described.......and he even chucked an Ibanez gigbag for free.....what a guy!
  13. Hi, whereabouts in Lincs are you mate? I'm in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Spotted the 'Cleethorpes' tag......I've PM'd you.

  15. Just get the Dunlop EP103 Echoplex. Superb pedal, lots of adjustment and you can add another switch for tap tempo (that gives up to 4 seconds delay).
