1. Bumpo.................
2. An excellent bit of maths & theory there - cheers.
3. Thanks guys. I looked a the thread about "the worst amp you ever owned" suggested by Stevie - I had one of those Linear Conchord 30 heads in a metal mesh cage with a Selmer Goliath 18" cabinet as my first rig. Very boomy & distorted, but hey - it got me out on my first gigs.
4. Can anyone help with ths - does anyone know the model name/number, power output and approximate age of this combo - there is none of this information on the back of it at all. My son bought it recently for £30 - it has a single 15" speaker & the cabinet is made so as to produce a "folded horn" which vents at the top of the front of the unit. It has preset eq buttons & it actually sounds pretty good & has a powerful output. I know Carlsbro made a whole range of amp heads & amps based round the same power supply & output package - thay did PA amps, guitar amps etc. but this one has two heatsinks - I seem to remember the other 100 watt units only had one heatsink, so I'm wondering whether this is a 200 watt model? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

6. Back from a couple of days in jolly old Rochdale, so it's bump time.
7. Back from the wilds of Rochdale, so time for a bump..........
8. Good morning - time for a bump.
9. Good morning - time for a slight bump.
10. Seymour Duncan Pedal complete with its box and the Manual/Leaflet. In pretty well “as new” condition – very minor scuff marks on it as it has had only home use. Really good boost pedal designed to give you a boost in your instrument level from +6db to +25db, depending where you set the knob. It has a mini 3 way switch on the front – if you set the switch in the middle position it gives a straight clean boost . In position 1 it makes a single coil sound like a vintage humbucker, in position 2 it makes a single coil sound like a high output humbucker (this is from the Seymour Duncan leaflet). I’m looking for £45 including signed for delivery by MyHermes signed for carrier service to UK mainland. Here is the official blurb from Seymour Duncan Application The first effects pedal designed specifically to work together with the pickups in a guitar to achieve optimum gain and resonance for all tonal applications. Works with all musical styles. Description By turning the gain control knob you can add pure, flat-EQ gain, ranging from 6dB to 25dB! The Resonance Switch drops the resonant peak of a single coil pickup up to 5KHz, making a single coil sound like a full and fat humbucker. Features fully discrete Class A circuitry along with true bypass. Comes in a heavy-duty steel chassis and runs on a single 9 volt battery. Of Note For Resonance Switch to work properly, the SFX-01 must be first in the signal chain using passive pickups and a standard guitar cable -- not a wireless unit. 11. Here’s my white Peavey Foundation bass guitar up for sale. I’m looking for £175 –I think that’s a great price for an American made quality guitar. It’s a really good example & I’ve owned it for a few years now. This is the second Peavey that I’m selling – I sold a black bass with maple neck recently. It’s a really excellent instrument – made in the USA with a superb maple neck and fretboard, the scale length is 34”. The neck is fitted to the body like Fender guitars, with a four bolt mounting plate and it has a microtilt adjustment. The machine heads are all good, and the neck is nice & straight. The electrics are as on a Fender Jazz bass with two passive pickups each with a volume control and an overall passive tone control. I had the capacitor changed in the tone circuit & as a result it has one of the best ranges of tone to it that I’ve come across in a passive bass. Oddly, it still has the peelable plastic on the back cover over the control cavity. The bass dates to 1987 from the serial number (02896928), and it’s a really nice player, it weighs at 4 kilos, and the neck has a really lovely feel to it - like a slim Jazz bass. There are scuffs & wear on the body, but no bad dings, and with it being white, I’ve tried to show where the paintwork has a few marks at the end of the body. These American made basses are, I firmly believe, future classics. May swap for a good Epiphone DOT semi acoustic guitar. I'm in Morecambe and I go to Rochdale in the middle of each week .The bass is living there at the minute & I could bring it back to Morecambe if anyone wants to try it. Just give me a shout & you're most welcome to see and try it at either location. 18. Here’s my Peavey Foundation bass guitar up for sale. I’m looking for £175 –I think that’s very cheap for an American made quality guitar. It’s a really good example & I’ve owned it for a few years now and gigged it a good few tiimes. It’s a really excellent instrument – made in the USA with a really nice maple neck and fretboard, the scale length is 34”. The neck is fitted to the body like Fender guitars, with a four bolt mounting plate and it has a microtilt adjustment. The electrics are as on a Fender Jazz bass with two passive pickups each with a volume control and an overall passive tone control – I had this bass fitted with a pull potentiometer so that when you pull out the volume pot nearest to the neck the two pickups then run in series to give a bigger, fatter sound – more like the sound of a Precision. The bass dates to 1991 from the serial number (04973566), and it’s a really nice player, the weight is nice & easy at 3.5kilos, and the neck has a lovely feel to it. It has a few minor marks on it but no bad dings, the machine heads are all good, and the neck is nice & straight. I’m up in Morecambe near Lancaster, and you’re welcome to come over & see & try the bass before buying, alternatively I do go over to Rochdale pretty well every week now so you could see it there. I could ship it in a well packed cardboard box by Hermes or similar at extra cost. These American made basses are, I firmly believe, future classics, but I’m having to downsize and this guitar has to go.
