1. [sub]Well bumpity bump for this excellent (and very cheap) little amlifier.............[/sub]
2. Sold a Boss Tremolo pedal to Dave - good communication & prompt payment - Top man - I would thoroughly recommend him to you! Excellent Bass Chatter, Geoff STOMPBOX
3. Sorry - no recordings, but with flatwound strings & through a decent amp they sound fine - they certainly don't sound like the example in the clip above in this thread - the guy manages to make a complete arse both of himself and the sound of the bass- it sounds truly awful - about the worst demo I've ever heard. They are just a straightforward passive bass - wired like a Jazz - two volumes, one master tone. The sound is really down to you - with a half decent amp & cabinet and a good pair of ears you'll have no difficulty getting a smooth deep sound.
4. [sub]These are excellent guitars - I've now got three - a black one with all maple neck/board, a white one with rosewood board and a black one with rosewood board - this one is a fretless. [/sub] [sub]All are well made & lovely necks, I think they are stunners - and were not a cheap bass when they came out .[/sub] [sub] [/sub]
5. Digitech X series digidelay pedal with original box - all in good working order, and great condition - just a couple of marks on the paintwork, but never mounted on a pedal board so the base is unmarked. Has seven modes of operating. Mode 1 is 10-250mSec delay range, 2 is 250mSec to 1 Second delay rangeThese pedals are £75 new, a, 3 is 1 second to 4 seconds, 4 replicates the old tape delays, 5 is a modulated delay, 6 is the intriguing reverse delay - quite mad, and 7 is a 4 second looper. This is the Digitech site with a demo http://www.digitech....ducts/digidelay Here is the maniual to look at or download - I can't fond the original http://www.digitech....elayManualV.pdf You can see it has a pretty wide range of sounds, plus, of course the main controls allow you to mix the amount of the effect level, the number of repeats, and the time of the delay These are £75 new, and I'm looking for £45 plus the cost of carriage by Hermes will be £7.50 for Mainland UK. Boss TR-2 pedal with original box. Great trem sound but I've an amp with built in effects now, so this has to go. Controls to adjust the rate of the trem, the waveform - can be gradually changed from trangular waveform to square wave, and one to adjust the depth of the effect. All in good working order & good condition - it does have some chips off the green paintwork round the footswitch, but has never been mounted on a pedal board, so the base is OK. These are £89 new, so I'm looking for £49, and carriage by Hermes tracked service will be £7.50 for UK mainland. 7. Nifty little Kustom combo amp, 10 watts with two channels, clean & overdrive. Has Gain & Volume on drive channel, and just volume on the clean with a channel select push switch, there are trebel middle & bass tone controls, then a pushbutton to select either Delay or Reverb (digital). Not a bad little amp - !0 watts with outputs on the back for 1) External speaker, 2) Line out for recording, 3) Headphone out, 4) CD/Tape/MP3 input for practice. Measures 30cm high, 20cm deep, 35cm wide, and weighs 6 kilos. Looking for £20, plus I'll send it by Hermes carrier for £7 - that's for the UK mainland or call & pick it up from me in Morecambe. Alternatively I do go to Manchester every couple of weeks & could drop it off round there, or Chorley, Bolton etc. en route. 8. Aiming to move to Rochdale in a few months - will give you a shout then if you still have them. It's great to recycle mags - especially as many articles don't age that much & also in view of the high original costs. Cheers, Stompbox

Lloyd bought a Boss limiter/enhancer pedaloff me. Good communications, great Basschatter. Hope you like the pedal Lloyd. Stompbox.
10. Here's my Boss LMB-3 Bass limiter/Enhancer - all in full working order, and in great condition - it's with the original box and paperwork - I've even put a fresh battery. I'd forgotten I had got it, so clearly I don't need it. I would describe it as excellent condition - it has never been mounted on a pedal board so the base is undamaged/unvelcroed. A couple of minor marks on the paintwork is all. I'm looking for £45 as these are RRP £85, and sold typically at £79 by Amazon & GAK - they seem to go for about £55 on Ebay. Postage will be £4.50 to send by Hermes tracked delivery to mainland UK. Paypal (no fees, thanks,) or postal order will be fine for payment - or call & pick it up from me in Morecambe if you like, and have a brew. Cheers, Stompbox
11.

You sound like a star person - the world could do with more bassists - have a bump on me (as it were).......
12. I know where you guys are coming from - I've now got D'Addario Chromes on my Jazz - excellent - and a set of Fender flatwound on a fretless Peavey Foundation. By way of a slightly different question - I know you're talking about flatwounds here, but the subject of string tension has come up - what brand would you say has the lowest tension roundwound strings? I've got my P bass with Rotosound on 45/105 s fitted & they really do seem tight/hard to play. Chers.
13. I've used this site for sales, & think it's a really useful resource, and have promoted it amongst all my bass playing associates - I have also given money to the site after various sales. I do find myself objecting to being obliged to pay however - it's a bit like the Co-op withdrawing their dividend to members........ It's a dilemma for the site administrators, I do understand that, but still I've not advertised on here since it was obligatory & have just sold a bass todayfor the full asking price on Gumtree. I wonder how much the sales traffic on here has dropped since the imposition of the new sales advertising tariff came in? Perhaps the administrators could put a comment on, or advise members what the state of play is for this site? Perhaps a global email to all members could be issued? Regards, Stompbox.
14. Just sold a set of pickups to Fluffo - quick payment, good communications. Thoroughly recommend him to you Basschatters.......
15. Top bloke - I bought some Schaller straplocks off Status 09 - thoroughly recommend him, Stompbox
