1. Come on folks - someone must want to have a listen!!!!
2. OK - gub's first, then Jacqueslemac. Will post it on Monday or Tuesday.
3. Here we go then - I think this is a great idea - no idea how to manage it really, but let's see how it goes. This is a hardback book & not a quick read, but it's very entertaining & well illustrated. I like the idea of signing & dating the inside of the book to see where it's been, so I'll do that & ask others to keep it up. Who wants it first? PM me with your name & address. Stompbox
4. Hey there - Would you add me to the list please? I'm also going to start a thread myself - one for Ronnie Wood's autobiography. I think this is a great idea.
5. Hi Max, Just a line to say thanks for the Van Damme guitar lead - arrived very quickly, brand new, in sealed poly bag. Top man - I would recommend him to other group members.
6. Hey there - I haven't got a MIM bass body and neck plate to swap (relatively few people have - even on this Bass group!), but Im keen to do a trade with you. Anything else grab you - I can get to Bolton area - my mate Jerry (ace bassist) lives in Farnworth so I can call & see him at the same time! How about a set of hand tools in a toolbox & a hi fi separate amp with remote control & motorised volume control? Anyway, all the best with your potential trade/swap. PS - Also got a new set of D'addario PROSTEEL Long scale, regular gauge 100, 80, 65, 45 roundwounds if they are of interest..........................
7. Good morning Y'all, Well my Eric Clapton CD's gone - so here's another - it's a studio album of Mark Knopffler from 2004 - the disc is as new & there's a DVD of interviews & the band's studio performance with it - I didn't know it ws in the box so I've never watched it. Swaps anyone? How about any Albert King, Albert Lee, BB King, Jeff Beck, Bill Frisell, Steve Vai? Whatever - email me.......
8.
I have a T-Bone Walker triple album, the Best of 1940-57 (pre-release 3CDs in a plastic wallet) or John Mayall Howlin At The Moon (live album featuring Mick Taylor on guitar). Let me know if interested in either. Mick
Hi there - yes I'd be interested in the "T Bone" albums - you say in plastic wallett - not just copy CD's though? Geoff
9. Got an excellent Warwick Corvette Standard off Andy the other day. Lovely bass, arrived well packed, very quick delivery & exactly as described. A star man to deal with - I thoroughly recommend him to others. Thanks again!
10. Hi there Blademan, Any Jeff Beck, Bill Frisell, Albert King, Albert Lee, Steve Vai, The Idle Race, Creation????
11. Hi - I'm normally a big fan of Erics stuff, and I got this a few weeks ago for myself, but now I've listened to it, I'm not that bothered about it . A lot of the tracks are older material by others except for a few tracks, so if you want it I'll stick it in a jiffy bag & send it off. NOW THEN - have you an album you don't want & you could post to me? Could make up a CD "swap" facility on here (what do you think you site moderators????) 12. Hello - PM'd earlier. Still for sale? Cash or Paypal waiting..............
13. Hi there - I've downloaded some information on both of these - it was the speaker cabinet I was most interested in, but the Peavey data sheet shows that it is nearly 27 kilos and measures 42.4cm x 62.2cm x 43.8cm. That's both bigger & heavier than I want, so I'll leave them for now, thanks anyway.
14. Hi, Would love the cabinet (and maybe the amp.) but as usual, too far away - I'm up near Lancaster. I had one of the Pavey heads & it was excellent. Would really love the speaker cab, but I can't think how it could be got even up here without costing the earth. You don't have any mates or contacts who could get it to, say, Manchester? Stompbox.
15. Good aternoon, I could be interested in your six string Warwick - how much would the bass weigh if you packed it securely for post to the UK? What would it cost to send with some insurance cover on it? I do have basses myself - - I have a really excellent "Made in the USA" Peavey Foundation fretless four string in gloss black with maple neck & rosewood fretboard with fret markers if that would be of any interest? Two pickup, with controls like a Jazz bass. I can send some pictures if this would be of interest. Regards, Stompbox.
16. Good morning! How about a U.S.A. built Peavey Foundation Fretless with fret markers, rosewood fretboard, gloss black body, chrome bridge & fittings, excellent condition, lovely neck - dead easy to play as though it were fretted, but you can get some great extra sounds/effects - be ideal for a second bass - may become your favourite though! Also has the original heavy duty Peavey Gigbag (black). Can get some pics for you - are you loading pics of yours yet?
17.
Hi - good afternoon, Could you tell me is this still for sale and do you have the box/manual/power supply with it? Thanks, Geoff
WHAT A BALLOON HEAD I AM - I just re-read the advert - sorry you alreay answered the forst bit of my question! Is it still available? Geoff
18. Hi - good afternoon, Could you tell me is this still for sale and do you have the box/manual/power supply with it? Thanks, Geoff
19.
Price reduced
What're your new prices? I still fancy the sub, but I'm getting quotes of around £50 to £65 to get a courier to collect it, which is about what the petrol would be, I suppose, for a round trip of about 500 miles. You don't have any mates in the long distance delivery business I suppose? Any ideas?
20. Hey just traded my double bass with Steve for his WAV upright electric. Great bloke - good to meet you Steve & a pleasure to do business with. He's a top man - I'd recommend him. Geoff
21. Well hello TPJ, Thanks for the enquiry - I find the tension OK - not too tight & they feel good under the fingers. Much better than the steel/ tape wounds that were on it. They have a good "deep" feel to the tone - they do play OK with the bow, but I'm a pizz player myself...... All the best, Stompbox
