  1. The voicing control makes a big difference, but you need to boost or cut the mid level control as well to use it. It's the same as on a CL.
  2. Sure is, but I'd prefer you to view in person before disclosing its whereabouts.
  3. Not even a conversation; just trying to findout where on earth the thing is!
  4. You should amend the thread title so that the moderators will lock/close it.
  5. I'm so bored with having to ask where gear advertised in the Marketplace is located that I'm wondering whether it shouldn't be a compulsory field?
  6. I'm pretty sure it's the same bass with the same modifications; defret, Bartolini replacement pick up and same phase switch. It even has the same marks on the rear edges of the headstock. As Musicman didn't produce a fretless Cutlass in those days it would be highly unlikely that two would receive exactly the same mods independently. Body date on yours is also 1983 (6/6/83).
  7. Thanks Drew. I've found some more photos and description at guitarchimp.com confirming it's been defretted. I tried one of these new at the Bass Centre in Wapping back in 1984 and have always wanted one. The neck just adds even more bite and thump to the pre EB Stingray sound. I'd have to put the frets back in though as my playing technique isn't up to fretless I'm sorry to say.
  8. Has this been defretted please?
  9. I really really really really don't need another cab but that would sit under my ABM600 evo iv so well. Is it all original? I.e., original speakers? Cheers.
  10. Do you have the locking screw that appears to be missing from the D string position of the bridge?
  11. Where are you please?
  12. It might help your sale if you can add working links to photos.
  13. SOLD - 2U Proel Rack Bag for sale. Surplus to requirements so only £10 collected from Hertford or £20 including delivery.
  14. So how do you view full version on a mobile like we used to?
  15. These are by a long way the most comfortable basses to play. Lightweight with slim necks and thin bodies.
  16. Where are you please? Cannot find a way to get your location on the new mobile version or switch to the full version.
