I hardly think that you're going to find new worlds by twisting a trimpot inside a preamp. You're probably just going to un-bias a transistor. If aguilar thought it was a good idea for you to be messing with that control they'd have put it on the outside. Just leave it alone, eh?

I have the IP112ER and EX112ER. They're great.

I really don't understand the fascination with finding trim pots. If the manufacturer wanted you to adjust it then they would have put it as an external control. If they've put it as an internal trimpot - they don't want you to touch it.

That was the Sadowsky M5-24 through an Avalon U5, into Logic.

I read back my post this morning and it sounds very anti-power conditioner. It's not ment to be - what I mean is if you want to use one because it lights up your rack, and provides and easy rack-mountable set of sockets for you to plug in all your great then it's great. If you want to use one for the conveniance, then I think you should - but I would never say you NEEDED one as if they were essential.

That's a nice example. I could live well with that bass. I love how used it looks.

*phew* - close call. My "white bass jealousy counter" was rising. There's a fella on youtube called Mike X Zuniga that has a white LG5. It's so sweet.

I think I know which one it is, and I'm about to have mucho jealousy. I really love white basses, and a white AC? Damn!
