  1. At the moment one just because of logistics, but I am eyeing up a two-bass case so I can take a backup in case something goes wrong. I already have a spare amp after a previous one blew in the middle of a gig and at least one other DI option.
  2. The exception to this is on the Fender Performer series where the "Greasebucket" (named after the shape, not the greasiness) tone control rolls off the treble and bass to leave you with a more midrangey tone. I wasn't a fan when I tried a Performer Jazz, although I loved everything else about the bass.
  3. Knock Three Times - Tony Orlando & Dawn
  4. Tainted Love - Gloria Jones, Soft Cell, et al
  5. "We're sorry, our bass player has forgotten all our songs. Is there another bass player out there who does and can step in?"
  6. Don't forget that Daphne & Celeste once appeared at Reading and Leeds...
  7. Yep, I've had a few: Playing in the wrong key for an entire song because I forgot we weren't playing in the same key as the original Turning down the volume between songs when I had to do something that would have caused noise, then forgetting to turn it back up again when I started playing My mind wandering and forgetting what it is I was playing and having to drop out for a bar to refocus
  8. No, but that will now change. RS has said they're looking into doing a MetroExpress P-bass though.
  9. The five-string version of this is on my list, looks amazing. GLWTS!
  10. Roger has confirmed in the FB group that they have been released, although I can't see any of them anywhere in Europe.
  11. Dammit, I need more coffee. OK say 92 possible options means 8.3 trillion years.
  12. Assuming 56 alphabetic characters (all upper and lowercase letters), 10 numeric, and let's say 30 special as you suggest, that's 96 possible options per character entry. Assuming 10 characters, that gives us 96P10 or 4.093x10^19 possible combinations. Attempting them @ 1s would take something in the region of 12.8 trillion years. I'm guessing that computers might be able to do it slightly faster than this though...
  13. What's My Age Again? - Blink-182
  14. Or you could buy a Vintera 70s Jazz, paint it yourself and save yourself £500. Good work as usual, Fender!
  15. Nowhere Man - The Beatles
  16. It's the websites that say a password can't be more than 20 characters and can't contain any special characters that make me stabby.
  17. Firestarter - The Prodigy
  18. Are "friends" electric though?
  19. Hello! I have a practice amp for sale on here if you're just after something to play at home (Trace Elliot Boxer - link in my signature) /shameless plug
  20. If you get the option with MFA use a code generator like Authy, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc. as this is more secure than getting a text message (I forget the reason why though). 2FA Directory has a list of sites you can enable MFA on. Yes it's a pain to do, but that's kind of the point, and better a few extra seconds for you to enter a code than have your data compromised!
  21. Adding a space into your passwords makes them immensely more difficult to guess as well. So in the example above, making it June blue Golf bC1 is making it a lot more complicated. Harder to remember too, so the password manager idea is also worthwhile. You can also use the password manager to generate random passwords of whatever length you choose so you can use different passwords for every site. I use Bitwarden for my password manager, having left LastPass following their purchase by a company with less than stellar data protection practices, and would recommend it to anyone looking.

  23. Que Sera Sera - Doris Day
