  1. Anything over 1GB? 1gb for a photo?! must be clearer than real life!
  2. Great price Dave, someone have this off him! I've used it once or twice and it's brill.
  3. Bump appreciated, got a guy on here coming to see it Wednesday so I'm officially putting this baby on hold!
  4. Yeah it does play stunningly with rounds on, I've got roto flats on at the moment so it sounds as good as it looks but it is, frankly, horrible to play, I love the tension of flats to pluck, just not to fret! Thomastik flats on their way from America. It also wears very nicely, mine's already got a fair few battle scars and ''rash'' from my belt buckle but frankly I don't mind too much as it's definitely a keeper. But it sounds great, with foam mute, set flat through my little EA iAmp 500 and ebs 12.
  5. Doing a ''just like the real thing'' soul review band so I sold my Lakland 5502 to a nice guy on here, and got me one of these.. Absolute Ebay bargain, was in V+R for over a grand!!!! Absolute joy to play, amazing sound, light weight, came with all the American Vintage case crap too, fab!
  6. Thank you to everyone for their nice comments on this bass! It's got to go, but it'll make someone very happy, and maybe a few years down the line they could make some money on it, definitely wont lose anything!
  7. Swap? mine is a year younger but has higher quality pictures!
  8. There's something wrong with me!, I saw the pics of yours and thought ''I wanna get me one of them'' Ha ha!
  9. Thanks everybody! The wood certainly is very very pretty, but like I said, it's needless for me and will inevitably gather dust while my nice jazz and precision get a thrashing! Cheers
  10. I bought this lovely thing a while back as I've always wanted one, and for all of my playing years I've been a Jazz and now a Precision man, and it's not one of them, quite obvious really, couldn't help myself though, you know how it is! I have no use for its sound playing wise (I play a lot of classic soul for money), so I'd like some money to fund another one of those nasty smelly, grotty old Fenders. Foam mutes still intact and working beautifully, shockingly nice looking wood all round, lovely ''Birdseye'' maple, incredible condition for it's age (almost 20 now!, vintage?), I would imagine ones like this are pretty rare and are likely to increase in value if anything. This thing's strings are still pretty fresh to be honest, the sound is as you would expect, it sounds just like a Stingray should to me! There's one 1cm-ish scratch which I couldn't get a decent enough photo of, as it has been quite well filled with something. Welcome to come see it in Bristol, I'd like something around the £820 mark. Will provide a Warwick rock case, not bad condition and covered in stickers and will protect it just fine. As always, any questions you can get me on 07772703515 or Pm I up!
  11. Well I left him an email but nothing as of yet, thanks for the tips though!
  12. Still looking on this one guys, I know it's not strictly bass related but I can't find a trumpet person anywhere! Gah!
  13. My favourites to date.. Tears of a clown The Night Bernadette It's a Shame Love Hangover Can't Hurry Love Baby Love What's Going On? Grapevine (MG one) Want you Back ABC (Your Love is Like a) Heatwave My Guy
  14. Gurt prop'r sawl band! I've started a ''play it like it's meant to be played'' Soul Review in Bristol (yes i have a Pbass, a hook and some foam!). ...with some really, really good musicians, we have a complete line up except for trumpet and we're already sounding great, I've almost exhausted all of my avenues, all the trumpeteers I know are busy or lazy! We will be looking to gig asap and have agents etc interested, this is intended to be a gurt prop'r money maker as well as a rite laff! If any of you guys would like to fwd this to any parpy parpy mates you've got that'd be excellent! Ta Jay jay249 at hotmail co uk 07772703515

  16. It is funny how people do this, it really is.
  17. 'Swapped with another pro', dude, pro's are higher beings.
  18. I feel that people are reading way too far into this, it's just a joke it's not going to end or harm his career- and he's said to find it funny himself anyway, it's worrying that someone has the time to make something like this, but it's only a joke, jeez.
