1. I would actually love to have a look at your jazz. email sent.
2. No it's not odd I've already got fifty quid more on it so it's suddenly worth bothering with, I was offering it for £200 no hassle cheap bargain quids on here and noone took it, tough.
3. My god they do use nice woods on the USA models, but I still think you all should fight over my Skyline!
4. Maybe he's grown up a bit.
5. I still don't want to post it Thanks Jay
6. One did just go for £350 shipped, thought it was worth saying.
7. It's a 306 turbo diesel, it doesn't do ''really f***ing fast!''
8. Heh, I knew it was a few BC'ers who owned it, I love it, but I don't play it at all! Not to the detriment of the bass at all, but really not my thing.
9. Can't believe this, last time I listed a bass it was a Jap Jazz and people were offering me all sorts!
10. I'm only having a joke mate don't worry about it. If anyone within 30 miles of Bristol makes me a good petrol and time offer to sweeten the deal I will consider delivery.
11. Making me feel bad for really not wanting to ship it!
12. The crappy and annoying academic side of it, paperwork and 'key skills' that colleges have to incorporate is also a huge pain in the ass, I spent the last 3 years at Access to Music, and while I only feel my biggest improvement in playing has been in the 6 or so months since I 'graduated' (and decided to get my ass in gear), but I could never discount it as a 'waste of time' or what anyone else is saying. We only had an hour of instrumental tuition a week, which could never be enough, and about 4-6 hours using the rehearsal rooms. No it hasn't prepared me for work in music, yes it has given me 3 years to doss about and play bass every day, and I'm playing in quality function/party/whatever bands, with people of twice my age/''experience'' and getting paid, and I'm teaching people to play bass, and getting paid, and all of this happened in the 6 months since i left, so It must have done something for me, even if it's just a bit of confidence of having it under my belt.
13. Nor me, all you got to do is come get it from Bristol!
14. Yeah possibly worth adding I really don't fancy posting it. Sorry guys.
15. Oh, and no, fan noise hasn't ever been something that bothers me, it does make a sound though, a sort of whooshing fannish noise.
16. 200 quid guys, bloody hell. Please don't make me use ebay, someone come and get this off me! Bump!
17. It has a very very wide neck, but it makes up for it with the fact its also very shallow too, and i think it's a nice go-between, I, however have no idea what to do with the b string in my playing apart from the parodial 'something to put my thumb on' jobber. It's the best five string I've played though.
18. Pics are showing for me, she's a quilted maple top i think, rosewood fingerboard, sunburst finish
19. I'm not getting nearly enough use out of this beauty so I'm looking to trade it up for something more my 'style' (i have no style). It's a Skyline 55-02 and to my knowledge has had a few BC owners including terryblyth. The usual deal, 3 band eq, Bartolini Pickups and electronics, set up lovely by me. Apologies for my poor lensmanship, I'd say I'm a musician but I'm not fantastic at that either! I am interested in the following 'Vintage Fender'' (with money on my part, probably) Nice Fullerton Reissues Lakland DJ/JOBO stuff Please don't offer me a Spector, I really don't want a Spector! Welcome to come have a cup of tea and a play with it, or offer me cash. I'm not sure what this thing's worth, I would have thought around the £750
20. Now the quality control on wedding gig girls, that's another thing entirely.
21. Bristol BIMM, for those of you who don't know is a new thing running in the center of Bristol starting september, it worries me - in that Bristol already has Access to Music and I think this is now over cooking it a bit, it's a small scene even, even for a fair sized city, and I'd be surprised if there's going to be enough students between them for it to work, given that quality control can also be fairly poor, and absolute shockers of musicians making it through the nets, come on, I got in, for god's sake! I think that for the right kind of person, of which I think i am/was, these courses can be a good time to focus on your playing and ''make contacts'' and I was one of the lucky ones and found work through it, the school leavers/dossers-about will come into these courses and leave with little or nothing.
22. I'm still not sold on this one, not with a solid bodied bass guitar.
23. Sorry I really don't fancy the bridge toll and the diesel for Cardiff, but you're welcome to come get it!
24. Cheers guys, she's a beaut and served me well but like I think I said, I'd quite like to have a HD350 with the frequency of gigs im doing now it's stupid not to have my 'perfect' amp. That's not to say this one's any less of an amp though, someone come get it!
