Hey, We are an ambitious band based in Oxford. We have come back from an Ameican tour to major label interest, two songs in an upcoming film and a showcase ready to go. Our, now-ex, bassist didn't consider the prospect of being famous and successful appealing (don't even ask) and so we're looking for a new one. Surely there must be an excellent bassist aged between 21-25, who lives in or close to Oxford, likes classic, melodic music (i.e. Pink Floyd, The Beatles, U2, Coldplay) and who wants to commit to getting to the top? It seems everyone wants session or paid work, not to join an exciting project and work up. Where are the John Paul Jones, Paul McCartney, Guy Berryman and John Entwhistles of the world?
