  1. Don’tyajust luv those “Voice of the theatre” cabs. Somewhere in the dim and distance, somewhere in the states, in a theatre they built a horn loaded loud speaker into a stage, beneath the stage, it was voiced to a wavelength that caused nausea, it was about 9Hz. Not a folded horn, a complete wavelength 🤫😱. Altec Lansing drivers were used
  2. Ha, what a demo, superb, I’ve not had enough years in my life to even think of emulating that kind of skill. Thumpety thump on the root note is as good as I get. 👀
  3. I bought one of these in 1971 from Manchester, for not a lot, borrowed the cash from my wife at the time, a lovely looking and sounding bass. GLWTS
  4. And me, me, I’ll be there, put me on the list, go on, please. I’m contemplating bringing my custom Fretless 5! I’ll bring my GR CAB and EVO 1 Head.
  5. What a shyster you are, it’s a lined Fretless, surely that doesn’t count? 🙈🥳 I’ve seen this in action. It is sublime
  6. £90.00 delivered uk mainland I bought this from John late last year. However my condition has left me with very little of a singing voice, in fact, so little I’m not even doing backing vocals. It’s back up for sale, boxed, as new, just how it arrived to me. It’s all in a tidy little ABS carry case, in its wrapping. Unused, still wrapped up. Courier at cost. Thanks for looking. Snaps to follow.
  7. I’ve given this some thought! I’ll take a ‘light ish’ Cab or two in part chop or even cash your way.
  8. Bought this as a project, never gonna happen. So it’s up for grabs at a greatly reduced price. Original post below https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/474669-markbass-lmk-spares-or-repair-sold/#comment-4903080
  9. The PJB Combo is £825.00, the C4 Cab is £395.00, total £1220.00 Rig £795.00 I will sell the Combo separately at £565. 00 and the C4 Cab at £245.00, a massive saving on new, if you get the Combo. PM me I will consider a partial trade for the rig or just the combo with cash my way. WHY, PM me
  10. Steely Dan Covers Band, you kept that quiet! I have to see that. Gig list please, I will travel.
  11. I can split cab, combo, you can make me an offer, not too cheeky and in PM
  12. Yes, I agree, I’ve used 3 x C4 with a Genzler Magellan in a blues band many moons ago. It’s my next move.
  13. I have a trolley it works as it should. I might Be a tad hasty
  14. If the combo part wasn’t so blummin heavy it would be stoppin.
  15. Well this was/is the holy grail of combo’s and extensions for me. I’m in a weakened state and the Combo is a Tad heavy, C4 is ok. I offer both as the ultimate dual channel rig, the reason I bought it, wet and dry inputs worked a treat, but at a cost to me weight wise. Immaculate condition, work as they should, and those tiny drivers move some air. A superb compact rig, I’m just not agile enough to hawk it in and out, loading and unloading I will split This model is based on the no compromised performance of the original PJB Suitcase. It is more powerful by physically smaller; in fact the same size as th Compact 4 enclosure. It has an incredible punch sound cutting through air as “a knife through butter” but with a solid and powerful low end response normally associated with a much larger combo. It features a two-channel pre-amp with our unique 3 band EQ. Simple to find “your sound”, the EQ sound has amazing control and transparency that allows you to unmistakably hear the true characters of your own playing and instrument. In the heart of this amp lies a formidable ultra-energy power supply. It feeds an efficient class D power amplifier which utilizes almost 95% of this energy to drive the four internal PJB Piranha speakers. The Suitcase Compact puts out a healthy 300 watts RMS onto its own speakers. Adding a Compact 4 cabinet it becomes 500 watts, and adding a Compact 8 it becomes 575 watts.next The future of amps is trending to “smaller and better” but with the Suitcse Compact bass combo, the future is here now! Key Features Power: 300W (RMS), 500W (RMS) with ext. Compact 4 speakers •Speakers: 4×5″ “Piranha” Type B •Controls: 2x (level selector, Volume, 3 Band EQ), Limiter w/ on/off switch, Master Volume •Jacks: 2x Input (1/4″ phone) •Headphone Out, DI out (post eq), FX Send/Return, Tuner Out, Preamp Out, Ext. Speaker Out (8 Ohm/Speakon) •Dimensions (WxDxH): 14″x12″x14″ •Net Weight: 40 lbs Thanks for looking
