Hand size...

8" long, and XXL size bike gloves.
2. Sounds like the nail has been hit on the head straight off.
3.
Bad band promo shots I have to share this for anyone who missed it last time I posted it.
The Hall of Douchebags, great. I could keep looking for ages, but it's lunchtime and I need to get out!
4.
Peavey sold two different TNT115 models. There was the TNT115 which had a Blue somethingorother driver and the TNT115-BW which had the Black Widow driver.
The Blue Marvel speaker is the cheaper option. If you can get the Black Widow option then rock on. Years ago I had a TNT150 with the bi-amped top cab & loved it.
5. My headphones are ready for listening to your uploaded clips.
6. I dont' believe this model has the black widow speaker in it? If so then check it out first as the original speaker can get abused easily and start flapping under gigging load. A pupil of mine bought a TNT115 almost new a few years ago and then it started to flap and it was quite annoying. I put him in touch with a BC'er who was selling a black widow loaded cab. He got it and we swapped the speakers around. Wow, what a difference. He is blasting now with no problems and has a 2nd 15" cab for those monolithic stack rock moments.
7. If it's got a line out you could use that. Not quite as good as a DI, but will work.
8. shame the bass isn't included! Nice rig, good luck.
9. Mmm, tasty collection. How do you choose which one to use?
10.
went to see a band ,rock covers, were quite good had a little to drink fish and chips after, now at home what a nice night

sounds like a perfect night ! fish and chips mmmmmmmmmmmmm
Yeah, we had a chippy night last night too.
11. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well in my case it' worth 12 bands of graphic eq on my Series 6 AH200 Trace head. Bass wise on my 2band eq Ray it's both on full with maybe a little bass cut if necessary depending on the venue.
12. I did catch up with our guitarist this morning as he gave me a CD for potential new song. That was the most musical thing to happen. Spent the day customising our sons Suzuki GS500 (my old bike) with some renthal bars, re-sprayed black wheels with red reflective wheel stripes. It looks and feels great. Tomorrow we will go for a ride to a bike shop in Plymouth, with me on my SV650, and head back for lunch. Lot's of twisty B roads and a blast up the dual carriage way.
13. I'm back at home now and have just checked my Trace Manual. It says you can unplug the speaker when using headphones. Of course the amp of the OP is a different make and model so best check with the manufacturer. It also says to use modern headphones of 600ohms not older style of 8ohms.
14.
Devonians coming out of the woodwork everywhere now
Unless of course The Crimson King is 'a few miles away' in Cornwall across the Tamar and not admitting to it!
15. I sometimes do the same with my Trace Series 6 head. I'm pretty sure it is ok from reading my manual. It is quite useful as you can use headphones and / or take a line / DI out for recording or plugging into a PA or something. All without lugging your cab around.
16.
I am also from Devon, I live a few miles away from Plymouth.
Hi There & welcome. My old home town is Plymouth. Grew up in Wembury to be exact, a few miles away.
Let me know when you're next playing up this way and I'll try to make it along. Quite a lot of people seem to rate Stingrays, I've not even picked one up so don't really have any idea what they're like.
We are playing the Stoke Arms in Exeter on Friday 11th March. It's a funny sort of place. If you can make it great.
17. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-1977-Musicma...=item3a6381ff29 I was doing a Stingray search as you do and saw this. It seemed quite cheap, and when I looked at the listing it became clear. Will someone grab a bargain?
18.
Thanks. I'm in Exmouth. We've just lost our drummer - it happens, so no gig in the near future, but I'll certainly let you know when we've something lined up, although it'd be a little trek depending on where. That looks like it was a fun gig (video on your website), I really like playing outside.
Sorry to hear you are not gigging due to drummer problems. We have not got any gigs in Exmouth at present, but I have done plenty in the past at The Shed, Molloys & The Old Barrel. The nearest we get is in Exeter. The video is from the Brixham Hapnin from 2 years ago. It was a quite Friday night but good fun. 3 out of the 4 bands bassists were using Stingrays I couldn't help but notice.
19. Hi & welcome. I'm from sunny! Devon too, Paignton in fact. Where are you based? If you are gigging locally I might pop by.
20. Hi & welcome aboard. I'm another fan of your bass.
21.
Richard Beckinsale worked for Mansons!! A

no, thats gary moore! complaining about the noise by the looks of it.
It's actually a young looking Hugh Manson, the boss. I always bump into Hugh when I visit Mansons and he's always making tea for the workers. Wish my boss did the same!
22. Extend your lead. I use a extension piece that has two female ends so you plug 2 leads together. Then walk right out into the audiance area to hear what you sound like, not your drummer who plays a bit of bass. It would be like you playing his drums for him to listen to - it won't work. You should get a suprise as to how you sound. You have not said what your bass is while you are GASing for a Ray. Ok, I have one it and it's the nuts and always sounds good out front with me playing it. Only then can you make an informed decision.
23. Do a search as this has cropped up a few times and there are extensive thread on the issue. For the moment I can't find any. I had the same issue and resolved it by pushing the pup poles in so they were flush for the d & g sting which enabled the pup to be raised under those strings so you don't catch yoyur fingers on them. Adjusting your eq helps a bit. Mine sings a treat now but it used to annoy me each gig. Alternatively go post a thread on the EB forum and watch the backlash!
24.
Sorry, I rose to the bait and couldn't resist Slow day at work!
If anyone starts a thread called Show us your tuner just leave it ok!
25. Cool, and I bet you weren't even GASing before. Enjoy & keep us posted.
