1.
Hate to be picky but John Prine wrote it. Good song.
And pretty bizarre too when you hear him sing those lyrics!
 2.
any Bob Dylan song
Grrrr! 😒
 3.
The Scorpions version of Tainted Love.
Possibly better than the Soft Cell version, but not a patch on the original. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSehtaY6k1U
 4.
I have Raynaud's on 3 fingers and wear these: http://www.healthand...ver-gloves.html Work a treat, have played five-a-side in the freezing cold and they are a real improvement. Wear them on the way to gig/practice and then you should hopefully find the Raynaud's has not taken hold before you start playing. Good luck!
Just got two pairs - fingerless and full finger - wow they're warm! Thanks for the tip - oh, and free delivery and arrived next day.
 5.
It's nice enough music of it's type, but what does a second drummer add to it?
I don't know what exactly it adds, but it feels/sounds like it adds something to my ears. Under Trucks solo about halfway through - the pair of them cook up a quiet storm under the guitar. Don't think one of them would have the same feel/impact. What would be great would be to get the multitrack and mix one out and hear what it sounds like. Not going to happen of course, but would be interesting to hear how (if at all) significant the difference was.
 6.
One of my favourite groups Mike.....is this off the new cd/DVD set?
Yes - they posted it on Facebook yesterday. Brave to do another live CD so soon after the last one, but looks like a very different set to Everybody's Talkin' Great band - love those double drummers. Usually bad enough finding one great one, but two together?

 8.
Useless facts. . . . In the early 70's Nils Lofgren used to jump off the drum riser into a trampoline and somersault across the stage. edit Whilst playing. . . .
Not useless at all - hence the title of his album
 9.
Thought I would bump this thread - Tonight I auditioned for a band looking for a bass player. Audiiton went well and they asked me to join there and then. Tight band with some catchy tunes - but they have a gimmick. On stage they wear jodhpurs and riding boots. Okay, some bands like to stand out from the crowd but is this necessary?! Could be a double denim onesie so I guess it's not that bad...
No chaps?
 10.
Umpire warning for ungentlemanly conduct.

Sorry, really bad post. I should have said "with which to play cricket". I feel thoroughly ashamed of myself All the best for the auction - this is a very generous act.
 11.
Girls Aloud? now that's real cheese, but Joe Walsh? You will have to do better than that mate.
Lyrics are pure gorgonzola, and the cod reggae bit nothing short of vintage comte. Bl00dy perfect 😊
 12. Way too many too mention, from Kylie to Bacharach & David. But I'll plump for Joe Walsh, Life's Been Good.
 13. There's a lot of interesting science stacked up against 4x10 cabs. I'd go for the EBS for that alone, but probably also more portable.
 14.
Blimey... if that's just sold then it must be one of the fastest sales on BC!
Two whole minutes, a bit tardy if you ask me
 15. I suffer, and have found this year that keeping my core temperature warmer (I've been wearing jumpers and a scarf in the office, something I'd never have done before) has really helped. The other bit that I don't know whether it is psychosomatic or not, but seems to work for me, is black peppercorn oil. Available from Holland and Barrat. Mix with a base oil and massage into your hands.
 16.
Someone asked us if we could play some Easter songs once - *blank look* ummm
Chick Chick Chick Chick Chicken, Lay a little egg for me. I haven't had one since Easter, and now it's half past three. Apart from that, I'm drawing a blank! Doh, forgot this - I could write a sonnet about your Easter bonnet - don't write 'em like that any more (thank goodness)! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYac9O3GYTM
 17.
Like what? We do love machine, thats pretty gender specific. Hard pressed to think of something we wouldn't do. Sisters of mercy did jolene, that worked ok.
You're right of course. I only put that caveat in there thinking if I hadn't I'd have been shot down in flames 😊
 18. Surely you need a Steinberger to play cricket with?! 😏
 19. I only really noticed how flat my board is (been playing it for 5 years) when I was struggling with some changes across the strings. Just struck me Tha a little bit more of a curve may have helped. Got the line now, and again not really noticing how flat the board is.
 20.
Theft as well. During a sound check (outside show) in Gibraltar, a Monkey ran off with our MD's, Piano mains lead, along with a slice of his Pizza....
How much had you paid it?
 21.
Mate, been playing a long time, losing cables out gigging / touring, damaging stuff on stage etc, all needs replacing in time due to wear. totally get what you mean if you just plug in at home an that, well made stuff will last ages. i dont have the luxury of a tech, so will knock up leads as i need them.
Didn't think about loss, and guess that will be more of an issue touring than gigging at the Tickled Trout
 22.
Possibly ten years ago, he made a ten foot cable. A couple of years later, one for an Amp and Speaker Cabinet. A couple of years later, some Patch Cables. Then some spares etc. And all still in use? I presume that's what he means.
Fair point!
 23.
All of the cable "makers" mentioned here build them from commercially available cable and plugs so I dont know why more musicians dont build their own - been doing this for years, good cable like Canare and switchcraft plugs, job done
Now, not wishing for this to appear like a trolling post, surely the point of cables like OBBM removes the necessity of having "been doing this for years" in that you buy ones that last?
 24. Absolutely stunning bit of recycling. Beautiful work.
