  1. I sold an amp to Carl. Really easy transaction with great communication and fast payment. Cheers Carl!
  2. I sold a cable to Orbs. Smoothest of smooth transactions. Many thanks!
  3. One of the above in very good condition. £18 posted.
  4. I have one two of the above in good condition. I'd like £23 the pair posted, or £13.50 each.
  5. Home is just south of Farnham. Work in Portsmouth.
  6. I don't think they're making flats since the buyout are they?
  7. If you play a bass that has a thru-body bridge, what is the best way to minimise the string twisting when it's fitted? For a top loaded bridge I have always strung the bass up and then just released the tension and allowed the string to resettle, but you can't do that on a thru-body bridge. Any tips, BC collective?
  8. I've heard Markbass cabs used in a rock setting many a time and they always sound great. The 2x12 should be plenty loud enough.
  9. Don't forget nylon flats. La Bella's standard gauge nylon flats are pretty meaty, but the tension of pretty low (lower than their LTF) and they sound fab.
  10. It's the washing machine!
  11. These are superb basses 😍
  12. Yep, totally get that, but surely some are smoother/quieter than others? They are normally roundwound strings clad in a nylon flatwound tape. I love them on my fretless, but I want something with a litle more tension hence the question about rounds.
  13. Hello all Who makes the quietest nickel roundwound strings? I want to try rounds on my fretless again but like as little to no noise when I slide as possible! Oh and they need to be available in extra long scale (i.e. at least 38" ball to silk). Thanks all Gareth
  14. I may be able to box it up. Let me see what I can do.
  15. Two from me.
  16. Is it lined? If so, much easier to do than unlined.
  17. Combo deal: Buy both this and the Little Marcus 800 amp I am selling to create a super articulate and powerful mini rig for £900 collected.
  18. I would love this. If only some of my stuff would sell!
  19. Hi Chris! Yes, I agree. Having played it some more I’m still getting a hint of buzz, so I reckon you’re right. Going to recommend the guy has a pro look at it to be sure. It’s playing clean enough, but it could be better!
  20. The golden age of Smith basses, and that is a lovely example.
  21. It's an unlined board, but I think I've found the problem: nut cut too low in combination with near flat fingerboard!
