  1. Current authorised repair in the UK is by Real Electronics in Sheffield. They charge a £35 fee to diagnose the fault and then advise how much repair will cost (parts and labour plus VAT and a £15 postage fee). They deduct the £35 from the repair bill if you use them to fix the issue.
  2. The 151 is about 8.5cm wider than the combo, so the latter should sit nicely atop the former. Should look something like this? Yes they won't match exactly, but does it really matter if it sounds good? I've mixed driver sizes many times over the years and never thought it sounded bad. More than anything, I think the 15 will just make your sound "bigger" and more rounded. If I was running said setup I'd dial the piezo out of one of the cabs entirely, probably the combo. I might also think about angling the combo up so that it becomes more like a monitor. This might also detract visually from the different speaker sizes
  3. The "B" in the neck stamp refers to the neck width, which is 1 5/8″
  4. Very nice, but remember the 5 refers to the neck type (i.e. a P bass), not the day of the month.
  5. Here's my Marcus Limited in situ at a gig. Does it really look that bad? And anyway, it sounds fantastic!
  6. Enrico Pasini at Wood&Tronics makes some very good stuff. He's in Staranzano in the NE corner of the country
  7. I know he's had a fair few endorsements over the years......
  8. No it's just a generic graph off Google to show the concept of how the band pass works. Should have made that clearer I guess!
  9. I have a Little Marcus 800 and love it. The five band EQ is superb, and the VLE is pretty much the same as the one found on the Litte Mark range (slightly different EQ points). The Millerizer function is a band pass filter than only passes frequencies between 5 and 12kHz. I find it to be very musical: it just adds a nice treble sheen to the sound IMO. That said, if I had the choice of a band pass filter or the para eq on the new version of the Marcus, I would choose the latter in a heartbeat.
  10. I doubt very much that is "roadworn". It looks like a proper bit of damage.
  11. Smooth preamp sale to Richard. All good here
  12. Try removing and refitting the offending string, making sure it's well seated in the bridge, saddle and nut. If that doesn't sort it try a different set of strings to see if that cures the problem.
  13. Bought for an acoustic project that went nowhere. 14. Not that simple, especially if you're singing as well. My nomination is "Don't break my heart again" by Whitesnake.
  15. That looks fab. If someone would buy my (8lb) Franz PJ I’d have this off you in a heartbeat!
  16. Some dowel rods will clean that right up.....
  17. I'd say it's possibly less about the watts and more about the amount of air you're moving. I have no personal experience of those cabs, but the C8 should be a considerable step up from the C4.
  18. Used but not abused fusion shell set. Some oxidising to chrome. Newish Evans 360 batter heads on all toms. 22” kick with Pearl muffler 14” floating floor tom 12” tom 10” tom 14” snare Buyer collects from Hampshire.
  19. My Franz basses ❤️
  20. What sort of trades are you looking for?
  21. Found one in Germany here.
  22. I never found one, and believe me I scoured the internet to find one!
