  1. Given my impending redundancy I am thinning my collection of music gear, and here we have two of these most excellent cabs for sale, handmade in Germany by Hans Struck. Both are in very good to mint condition and come with high quality padded sleeves custom-made by Hot Covers here in the UK. Pricing these is difficult as they are rare in the UK, and to import them now from Germany would (I believe) attract import duties as well as shipping. I am asking £500 for the 1210 and £300 for the 112, and they are collection only. 120UL - SOLD This cab has a 12" neo speaker at the bottom and a 10" neo speaker at the top. There is no tweeter. Power handling is 600 watts RMS and the dimensions are 65.5cm high, 41.5cm wide and 41 cm deep. The actual weight of this cab is 17.5 kg with the cover on. Impedance 4 ohms. To quote the FMC site "The speaker sounds more powerful than a 210, it has the transparency of the 10" and the bulkiness and centre focus of the 12" speaker. Altogether a modern and open-sounding box with plenty of depth. New price in Germany is €754 (£641). A really good one cab solution for small to medium size pubs and suchlike. 112UL As simple as it gets, this cab has a 12" neo speaker. There is no tweeter. Power handling is 300 watts RMS and the dimensions are 45cm high, 42cm wide and 41 cm deep. The actual weight of this cab is 11.2 kg with the cover on. Impedance 8 ohms. To quote the FMC site "Super light 1x12" boxes with small dimensions. Equipped with neodymium speakers from the brand manufacturer Sica. With our innovative downfire bass reflex system, a voluminous bass that is also sufficient for 5 strings. The forced mids make the speaker very easy to locate in the band structure. New price in Germany is €545 (£463). Perfect for rehearsals and small gigs.
  2. Gotoh GB528 ResOLite tuners are smaller and lighter.
  3. It was a pleasure to help Oli create a rig that will cause seismic pleasure across the country!
  4. I sold Oli an amp and, once again, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
  5. I aim to please I use one on my board to power a 12V pedal and it works a treat.
  6. Not sure what the available power from the TRex is but could you just add a Gigrig supa-nova to convert a 9v supply to 12v?
  7. Yes, time for me to pull mine from the ads section and just keep enjoying it!
  8. I’m out right now but yes 5mm sounds about right for a non-padded one.
  9. I would highly recommend these: https://www.thomann.co.uk/thomann_safecase_80_e_bass_bag.htm
  10. A slight aside, but I saw Zak when he was playing in the Moody Marsden band and he was really rather good. In fact, with Jaz Lochrie on bass that band was really very good.
  11. A fair point, but they often sell ex-demo and seconds for a lower price so worth keeping an eye on?
  12. Heistercamp. Made in the UK and completely lush.
  13. PRICE DROP TO £500 UK POSTED Just picked this GR Bass One 1400 up but have decided to go all in and buy the Dual version. The amp is incredibly flexible, and with two power amps (700 watts at 4 ohms each) controlled by separate master volumes there is a huge amount of power on tap. Add in bright and deep boost switches, bass, treble, low and high mids (each with three selectable eq points), and an eq bypass switch and you have all you could possibly need. Aux in, built in tuner, headphones jack with its own volume knob and a DI knob round out the front panel. The amp is well used but is fully functional. There is some system hum with the gain cranked up, but in a playing setting it's unobtrusive. Also, the amp is very loud. The gig bag is structurally sound and freshly laundered, but looks a little tired. Price includes postage in the UK.
  14. Is there anyone out there who can check over digital amps?
  15. Yes, they were made in Asia. Sounded fine, as did the pre to be honest, but the US stuff was definitely a step up.
  16. Very nice. I had one of the Cort SCMS range and it was a great bass. I put US Bartolini pickups and preamp in it and that took it to another level.
  17. NOW £500 THE LOT Selling this complete setup for a bargain price. Amp has been gigged maybe three or four times and is in immaculate condition. This amp is capable of so much it's rather overwhelming to try and write it all down, but chances are if you're looking at this you know what it does so I will just link to the Boss website. The footswitch and BT adapter make the whole setup much more versatile, especially for live work, and the gig bag is a perfect fit and finishes off the setup nicely. Only selling as I am no longer using effects and am looking to go back to a simpler setup. I have the original boxes for the amp and the footswitch. Just to be clear, only the GA-FC footswitch at the bottom of the board is included in this sale. The others will be listed separately.
  18. I really don't miss the days of coming back from a pub gig and then the next time I get my bass out of its case being hit by the smell of stale cigarette smoke.
  19. Redundancy confirmed so I need this gone folks
  20. No! Always had great dealings with them. Sad times indeed.
  21. For me it's two of the Wals custom-made for me: W30496 - Mk 3 five string fretless with walnut facings W12397 - Mk 3 five string with beech facings and custom neck pickup position
  22. Sorry man, at least I tried
