  1. Well, it came across as sarcastic, but I stand corrected.
  2. I know you set relief with a capo. The two sentences in my post are separate statements; the first sentence refers to the action, the second to the relief. Just sayin...
  3. I've been there. You have a beautiful castle in the town if I remember correctly.
  4. And you My uncle was originally from Ystad. Where are you based?
  5. Hej! Välkommen till basschat My aunt and uncle lived in Höör in Skåne for many years. We had lots of great winter and summer holidays there. Beautiful part of the country and lovely people. FB
  6. I had Strings Direct put together a custom "balanced tension" set of D'Addario XL nickel roundwounds for me and they are great: 42, 55, 75, 100, 135. No issues with the B at all.
  7. I had a Sire P8 that was a terrific bass. Everything about it was top notch, and I had no concern at all with the B string. But... I sat in Andertons and tried six basses of the same spec when I bought it, and they were all very different. Yes they had the same core tone, but two weighed more than a small planet and two had dodgy electrics. I don't remember the B strings being particularly bad, so that's a plus. The one I bought was a superb bass and was the perfect combination of playability, weight, tone and QC being spot on. The others, much less so...
  8. Yes I will be selling the whole board. Listings to follow!
  9. For bridges like this, threadlock is your very good friend...
  10. I didn't know any details, but I know Lee is a good person so happy to help. Hope circumstances improve soon, whatever they are.
  11. Thanks for this. Yes, they really are superb basses and, as you note, this is a bargain.
  12. The regular super polished felt like played in groundwounds to me, but definitely had that clarity of steel. The stickiness went away pretty quickly on them, so hopefully the same for the IMAs.
  13. I sold a cab to Freddie. A super smooth sale. Great comms throughout and he even offered to put down a deposit. Happy to recommend to the BC community
  14. "Always on" version of the famous Boss tuner pedal. Takes up less space on your pedalboard. Pretty much mint condition. Price includes postage.
  15. A super simple transaction completed for a Boss wireless. Rosie sent me the unit to check I was happy before I had to pay a penny! A credit to Basschat
  16. That is very sad news. One of those companies who absolutely nailed it (in a good way).
  17. Thanks for the comments folks. Funnily enough I ended up returning the footswitch anyway as I decided it was an unnecessary accessory 👍
  18. That looks the biz, thank you!
  19. My new GR Bass Dual head has a footswitch that uses an ethernet cable. My experience of these cables is they likely aren't very suitable for lying on a stage floor; they're won't lose their coil or lie flat, and will stay a trip hazard as a result. Anyone know of any ethernet cables that are more like a guitar lead, so suitable for life on the floor of a stage? Or maybe I should invest in something like this instead?
  20. SOLD I've had this on my board for a few months and it works flawlessly. It's in excellent condition. Only selling as I am moving away from a pedalboard setup. Stock image below, plus a picture of the actual unit on my pedalboard (all of which will be up for sale shortly). £150 posted in mainland UK.
  21. I use the Access FX1 bag and it is superb. Would easily fit all of your kit apart from possibly the bass bar stand? Hard to find in the UK though I think. What about the Thomann Producer or Accessory Bag Pro. They look decent.
  22. Thanks Nik. Much appreciated. Hope all is good with you and yours.
