I was asked to dep for a couple of gigs as bassist wasn’t available. He turned up at the 2nd one. 😲 I’m still playing with them 3 years later and just recorded latest album. The original bass player I’m depping for still turns up at gigs. It’s very confusing.

I love this tone on this tune. But funnily enough I don’t like it for my own sound. I remember seeing WA at Hammersmith Odeon back in 70’s. I was appalled at MT gobbing on the stage, which had a nice carpet (no idea why, but it’s what I first think of when recalling that gig). Argus was me and my mates “fancy a night in with some herbal augmented smokes?” go to album.

Mr Capaldi seems a very funny guy, but I couldn’t understand a word he was singing, which was a shame as he can clearly hold a note. Although the weird wobbly bottom jaw thing at the end of each sentence was a bit distracting. I think Ronnie should have let Ms May take the vocals tbh. Foals were not unpleasant, violin person was interesting, I liked the harmonies in the strat playing female lead singer band. My comprehensive and informative reviews are available for a large fee

I like both flats and rounds. My preferred rounds on a P are Ernie ball nickels. Smooth to touch but still a bit of grit.

So I guess your (or someone else’s) mass purchase distorts the market? I’m not phased by this, although the high numbers available could compress the price. Perhaps delaying selling or buying so many would have an effect. My theory is a bit loopy, and echoes previous comments however. Sorry

I don’t mind so much if a song starts too fast or too slow, it’s not great, but it’s better than my pet hate of a drummer slowing down gradually through a song. Not the deliberate act of correcting tempo and maintains it, but usually due to a lack of concentration, boredom or stamina, unacceptable! 🤬

Just need to jiggle a few coins around first (kids at university means every penny is counted by the “accountant” 😆) I know you’re a fan too! So in the meantime if you or anyone else is able to jump on it, go for it man! 😎 I’m notoriously a ditherer.
