1. Some close up pics of the headstock lacquer issue would be useful too ;0)
2. Hi - beautiful bass! Could you tell me the width of the neck at the nut please? Gary :0)
3. Damn fine player and the nicest man you could ever wish to meet! I'd buy this if I didn't already have one...
4. Just sold my Hipshot BT8 to Dan - pleasure to deal with and jolly nice man!
5. Very nice! Anyone know if these are definitely DiMarzios fitted to these basses as standard?
6. These are brilliant! They make sound engineers love you! Gary :0)
7. I'd like it too - then I'd have a choice of a Road Ready or a (possibly fractionally lighter) standard vinyl covered one plus be able use them both to listen to Dark Side of the Moon with the 400+ :0)
8. Really gassing for one of these ideally in natural body with maple neck/board. Found this on Ebay but seems a bit expensive plus that D string intonation on the bridge looks a bit suspect to me. I assume no case either... 9. New pictures today :0) As you can see this really is immaculate and been very well looked after.
10. Thanks BassPimp - a few SWR heads on here at the moment but this is the real deal!
11. One SWR SM500 amp - I have had this since new circa 2002 I think. Always been flightcased hence immaculate. Never ever let me down (unlike certain other amps I own) Until recently these were up for sale on BassDirect for £1700.00 or so! Beautiful amp, great sound, nice growl if you need it, compressor/limiter, aural enhancer etc. [s]£575.00[/s] £475.00 plus postage. NO TRADES More detailed pics to follow Please note - flightcase and tuner not for sale. (Actually I may sell the flightcase but it is an as new 6 months old Flightcase warehouse £120.00 so can't "throw" that into the deal I am afraid) Here's the spec from the SWR website: SWR SM-500 Head This is where it all started! The SM-500 is a direct descendant of the original SWR amplifier, the world-famous SM-400. Often copied but never matched, the SM-500 features the original SWR tube preamp and a four-band graphic/semi-parametric EQ so that your best tone can be dialed in - regardless of the playing situation. Over the years SWR have added features like a side-chain effects loop, a stereo master volume control and transparency (for the crystalline highs), but this is essentially the same amplifier that started a revolution in bass amplification back in the early 1980s - and nothing else sounds quite like it! 12. I'll take 3 please - had exactly the same thought after seeing the above bass for sale ;0)
13. Bought this about 6 weeks ago - great quality compressor that as the review below says adds a classy "fat and shiny quality" to your bass sound. Highly rated by Paul Turner too. This is as new with the 18 volt power supply, polarity converter, instructions and original box. Fantastic review here http://www.ovnilab.c...diamobass.shtml Diamond website http://www.diamondpe...compressor.html The EQ tilt is really useful too. Selling as I need some funds for something else on here :0) £150.00 posted within UK. No trades.
