Gotta I love the new site! Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere or is an ongoing issue but I still don't receive an email if someone sends me a PM or responds to a thread. I have applied all the ticks in the right places in my settings.... Any suggestions? Gary :0)
I wonder if it'd fit my Squier Matt Freeman P. If so I'd have it.
Hi - if your bass has the standard 5 hole mounting holes it should fit fine. Just checked out a large pic of the Matt Freeman bass on Thomann and it looks pretty standard.

** Now sold ** For sale one BABICZ Full Contact Hardware 4 string Fender style bridge in Chrome This is a direct replacement fo the 5 mounting hole screw pattern Fender "bent bit of tin" bridge and easily as good as the Badass II and is much simpler to fit and adjust. There is a huge amount of adjustment possible with the Babicz - most times I have fitted a Badass II, the saddles never seem to go low enough without shimming the neck. This is brand new and unused. Currently £75.00 at BassDirect and Bass Centre. £55.00 posted to mainland UK. NO TRADES Check out BABICZ site here: http://www.fullconta...bass-bridge.htm and worth watching the installation video to see how comprehensive this bridge is. Blurb here: A direct replacement upgrade for Fender Precision or Jazzstyle bass bridges. Installs in minutes and offers a"saddle housing lock" feature for added saddle stability. The Babicz "Full Contact Hardware" replacement system for five-string bass guitars offers unmatched stability, increased sustain, dramatically improved fullness and tone along with complete adjustability. Available in Chrome, Black Nickel, and Gold finishes. Includes instructions, complete FCH bridge system, action adjustment and intonation lock hex wrenches. Includes all necessary screws, instructions and adjustment wrench. Mounts with the Fender 5 hole screw pattern

Sadowsky Outboard PreAmp / DI - these are just great but I am selling this spare one as it isn't getting much use. My main one will be buried with me!! This is one of the early ones with smaller knobs but in as new condition as it has been flightcased from day one. Same preamp that is inside Sadowsky basses - bass/treble boost at just the right frequencies plus a very useful mute switch, DI out, Tuner out and ground lift switch. Difficult to source in UK, approx US$239 new which means costs £200+ by the time it is imported. £214.63 on Thomann. I am looking for £115.00 (including P&P). No Trades Here's Sadowsky's info: The Sadowsky Outboard Bass Preamp/DI Pedal contains the same famous circuitry built into every Sadowsky bass. Housed in a small footpedal box for use on the floor, it measures just 4.5" x 4.5" x 2.25" and weighs 1.5 pounds. Just plug your bass into the box and then go from the box to your amp, and/or direct to the board. Renowned studio quality Sadowsky pre-amp (same pre-amp used in all Sadowsky basses) that adds clear deep fat punchy lows (not thick muddy ill defined bass) and transparent warm clear musical sparkly top (not cold hard brightness that quickly tires the ear). Will Lee said “I love the Sadowsky Preamp/DI pedal! It is really quiet and has become my favourite DI”. Marcus Miller said “gave me that Marcus Miller sound!”. Here's some reviews (http://www.sadowsky.com/media/support/libr..._preamp_rev.pdf, http://www.sadowsky.com/media/support/libr...0302_preamp.pdf, http://www.harmonycentral.com/products/87181) Controls consist of volume, treble boost and bass boost. The Preamp/DI Pedal is perfect for vintage basses where installation of an onboard preamp would affect the instrument's original condition and resale value. The Preamp/DI pedal is recommended for all passive basses, basses with active pickups, and instruments that have active electronics that can be bypassed. It also works great with all upright bass pickups.

***SOLD*** One T-Rex Squeezer Valve Compressor. I am slowly coming to the conclusion that compressors are just not for me :0( This is great - transparent but adds a nice bit of valve warmth if needed. But, like I do with all the other compressors I have owned, I just spend too long fiddling to get the "right" sound which I never seem to quite do and switch it off mid-gig..... Got to say though that for me this is superior for bass than the Keeley Compressors, superb though they are. [s]£100.00[/s] [s]Now £95.00[/s] Now £85.00 posted in UK mainland. NO TRADES See here for updated review by Ovnilab: http://ovnilab.com/r.../squeezer.shtml - his first review of the Squeezer found it unacceptably noisy which mine definitely is NOT. This review corrects this comment. Here's manufacturer's Spec: Tube-driven compressor. A player's best friend - in studio or on stage Squeezer is a tube-driven compressor for studio, guitar and bass use. It smoothens out your sound and keeps you right where you want to be in the mix – while enhancing your sound with rich tube warmth. And it naturally gives you complete control of all essential parameters, letting you craft a compression that’s all your own. Squeezer used with bass Bass players tend to get buried in the mix – and it’s not just because guitarists are always turning up the volume! Your bass has a low frequency range, which makes it difficult for the human ear to distinguish in the first place. And the techniques bass players use – from atmospheric open-string drones to popping and slapping – cover a wider dynamic range than almost any other instrument in your band. Squeezer evens your dynamics out, making your lines come through at the right level, no matter how you’re playing.
