2. Sorry guys, I am keeping this. Trying to thin out my arsenal to leave me with the best combination but to sell this would be a mistake.

 6.
Whenever I see one of these I want to know what they sound like with either a Sadowsky sa200 or an Aguiler db750 - rather spiffing I would think (goes off to rub his knees in the store cupboard....)
Sublime I'd say! Sounds rather nice with the svt and the 400+!
 7. Now SOLD! I'm sure you all know about these "Ampeg Fridge Slayers" at half the weight..... Had this for 6 months, done a handful of gigs and is pretty much as new. It does everything it is supposed to - bombproof, warm vintage tone to die for, very loud, great definition, comparatively light at 108lbs/49Kgs. It's just that I miss the zing of a tweeter onstage. I know I'll regret this but it is up for sale while i try and find an alternative as good as this but with a tweeter. Here's the bumf from the BassDirect website: The NV 610 (New vintage) is everything you ever loved about 8 x 10's, but it's far easier to move around and more articulate. It really punches through a mix, and has surprising upper midrange to high end clarity as there is no tweeter. This is a sealed cabinet design, it also has tilt back casters for ease of moving this 3' cab. This cab loves power and will thrive with large S/S or tube amps of 1000w +. Old School and Modern, clean and distorted sounds - the 6x10 does them all with style! Model NV610 specifications: •6-10" woofers with vented pole pieces •power handling - 750 watts rms •frequency response: 48hz - 4.5khz •sensitivity: 103db 1watt/1metre •2 x 1/4" and 2 x neutrik connectors •impedance: 4 ohms •dimensions: 36"H x 24"W x 15"D •dimensions: 91.44cm x 61cm x 39.4cm •weight: 98lbs/44.4Kgs •tilt-back casters •Padded/fitted cover with bottom strap £100 Mine also comes with the £100 optional padded cover with strap. BassDirect website As it is so new I am putting up at £875.00 with the buyer covering courier/ pickup from West Sussex. NO TRADES THANKS AS I HAVE TOO MUCH GEAR ALREADY! Here's the pics:
 8. I bought this back in November from Kev (OpticalEye) full of great ideas of using it "on smaller gigs" to give my back a rest but the fact is despite the additional hassle, I love my 8 x 10 fridge or the Bergie NV610 more so this cab has only been used at rehearsals. That said, it is superb! For a little cab, the bottom end is superb (which I guess is helped by the top and bottom ports which I have noticed is not on the newer models) and delivers excellent chest thumping low end. The variable tweeter is great too. 400w with very efficient Neo drivers and I am sure, quite capable of handling high volume gigs on it's own. MarkBass website has the weight of the newer single port model as 43.2 lbs / 19.6 kg so I guess this model is fractionally more. Still a fairly easy one hand lift though! MarkBass website details for STD102HF Been very well looked after and in very good condition. Pic below (courtesy of Kev) Ideally I'd like what I paid for it back so £350.00 collected or buyer arranges/covers courier. I could meet up within say a 30 mile radius of Gatwick but would need to discuss. Thanks for looking!
