Hi LZD56 - I really couldn't be sure. Looking at a pic of the Fender SQ Mike Dirnt Precision Bass, I'd say you could fit it but with some major changes needed mainly because of the position / routing of the 2 controls on the Telecaster style bass which are in a slightly different position to normal P basses. If you really wanted to do it you could but with major work - new holes needed for fixing the new plate to the body, old holes left over that would need filling plus the above control pot routing etc. Large job but doable if you really really wanted to.... I have a Hipshot BT8 Xtender/detuner for sale. This is the one that fits all 2008 & later USA Fender Standard Jazzes & Precisions, the ones with the Hipshot lightweight tuners fitted. Tuner has been fitted and is without box, but is in great condition ( picture below is of the actual tuner I'm selling). This was bought from Mickster 2 weeks ago for a bass deal that fell through so no longer needed. £40.00 posted to mainland UK

Very interested however do you have any better pics as these are pretty dark and small? Be good to see close ups of any dinks. Does this come with the standard SKB style Fender case?
