2.

Almost the opposite, we have dropped cover songs whihc we know our audience like but they are just dismally boring to play. Whiskey in Jar is one of them.
3. As a motorcyclist I would rather have a 5* SHARP rated £50 helmet than a 3* SHARP rated £500 Arai. Look at your needs and find what us suitable, rather than just spending the most on something which does exactly the same.
4. The bass playing was cool, the guitarist was a tad indulgent. Not sure about the disco backdrop. A bit too "Ooooh look at me" for my liking
5. Definately going to this one. good find brick
6. Loving the revamped site. 1 question though, where it the "Mark Forum Read" button? I cant find it....
7. Sitckers? Nah Aluminium chequer plate? Oh yes Sorry...but I like my mods, the rest of the band hate it but it's not their bass.
8.
Welcome to a fellow Scottish east coaster!
Ditto
9. The Glasgow show was superb. Overall being the SECC the sound wasn't fantastic apart from Steve bass sound and Nicko's drums. The second half was more of the older stuff with the first being off the new album. My main gripe was that the stage was too low so to really see it you had to watch the big screens, I have a telly in my house for that kind of thing. So I am sure you will have a great gig and after 15 albums they have only gotten better, not many bands you can say that about....
10. Wednesday night in Glasgow for me. Up the Irons
11. Angle grinder would be far too harsh for this. I used a pair of tin snips.
12. I got a sheet of it from B&Q, it was for a 2x10 and wouls almost do two of them, it was £20 or there abouts. Looks good
13. Glad to hear it. Playing live to me is the reward for the practise we do.
14. Last year a few mates along with my sister and my 67 year old mum went to see Sepultura in Fats Sams, Dundee. The staff were fantastic, really looking after my mum (total die hard metal head). I emailed the manager when we got back to say a massive thank you and even sent up some flowers to the head bouncer (female one I might add) as she took particularly good care of her. I have to agree we are all really quick to complain but praise is far more motivational than being berated.
15. I have the same amp but dont have those buttons......weird
16. Watch that spoon, it'll take your eye out
17. I am what can only be described as average at best so I am always watching other players to pick up tips. I do find it really intimidating when there are people wathcing me who I know are stunning bass players..... Lawrie McMillan and Gil to name two other BC members who have seen us play. I have spent a lot of time getting the sound I like and am often taken aback when other players comment on my playing and sound, feels good though

19.
2. For some reason I always end up in bands with clumsy people, who have tendencies to walk into things, and a stack of two 210s vertically wouldn`t make it through rehearsals, yet alone gigs.
At 6ft and 20st, nothing gets near my gear unless I want it to.....lol
20.
Damn - I'd love to see this. My first gig was seeing Anthrax on the 'State Of Euphoria' tour when I was 12. Sooooooooooo goooooooood. Also saw Megadeth a few years later on the 'Rust In Peace' tour with a then little known Alice In Chains in support. ...............................Memmmmmmmmmorrrrrrieeeeeeessss......................
That same Anthrax tour was my fist ever gig, with Living Colour supporting them.....ah the memories
21. You could always try these.. http://www.airturn.com/ "With these Bluetooth momentary switches you can turn pages on your iPad sheet music app. There are already more than a dozen existing compatible apps." You might be able to pair it with the App to allow for fx switching. Would be interesting finding out
22. Bugger, I would have loved to go to this...
23. I played guitar for 10 yearts before my best m8 said his bass player had left his band and would step in for a few gigs. 8 years later still the bass player in the band, never picked up a guitar in about 5 years, I just love the bass
