    What he said. Parametric eq is a nightmare for the knob twiddler but if you know what you’re doing then it’s can provide a quick and easy fix and sort out a dodgy bit of feedback or rumble. It’s like tuning in a radio then cutting or boosting to fix the issue.

    I think we’vetalked About the Cali76 cb before- great comp with variable hpf so the lows don’t trigger the comp too soon. See the Cali made sense all along

    I gigged a room once and every time I played a G note the room - not an 80lb combo, the friggin' room, rattled. "Can you not play that note?" asks the sound man! My response was along the lines of "Ach away and F**K right off! The only sympathetic thing you'll hear in here tonight mate is that vibration now get it fixed and do your job." I miss the good old days...*sigh*

    Yeah they didn’t show at NAMM but I know a guy who was talking to one of their peeps. They'll be there next time - I’ll presume they meant summer 2018 rather than next winter NAMM. I think folk have been expecting the drive for a while now and the reveal in time for the NAMM show made us think they’d have something ready for the market...or at least show us the bloody controls right! 😀

    Video up on instagram. Tried to zoom in on the controls but can’t see what’s going on. Any of you NAMM'ers able to get a pic of the actual controls? I'm interested in seeing what it has as we're unlikely to see/hear a bass demo as a priority over guitar.

    I thought it was only DG who re-released 'Ultra' versions of their stuff I'm not sure that they'll do that as I don't think the two tones would make great bedfellows. If the public kick up a stink about added features they might though?

    If I played more tunes with a pick it would probably open up mu options a bit but i'd say 98% of my set is finger style. It just so happens a wealth of new tunes for one of my gigs (I've three set lists to learn over the coming few months) will give me a chance to play a bit more with a pick...and some drive! Origin effects drive on the horizon!
