  1. Same here but yeah it’s a tempting thought. It would be great to hear it in action
  2. String this BEAD and it’ll bring the boom!
  3. Cool
  4. The AO runs ok at 18v? I know the manual says 9v so I’ve not tried it just in case!
  5. Is it similar to the drive on the BH amps on that the parameters are all done using the tone print? CAn those be edited like the Spectracomp et al in the editor?
  6. Easy peasy! Top bloke! Nuff said!
  7. They’ll do the celeb tone print rounds again and generate a bit of social media interest.
  8. That is one of the advantages of the editor in my view. I'm surprised its not been approached in a more overt way but to be fair I've not seen the videos of famous folks talking about their respective tone print inspirations.
  9. Does the spectracomp have a patch which replicates the famed Dbx comp? That would be interesting especially if the tone prints were designed to emulate famous industry standard comps rather than witty titled pro’s tone prints. Anyone from TC Electronic been approached about that idea?
  10. It’s hard to really pass comment on a device that not been released. TC will obviously support this product as they do with all these devices they make. I for one think it looks great and I’d get one to use as a practice device if I didn’t already have a solid set up at home. Would this be a great gig bag back up for any gig. Yup is it worth the asking price? To me darn tooting?
  11. The joy of doing something is not always at the expense of modesty.
  12. I believe earlier version have ‘cab types’ but now the controls have different names.
  13. Omni can sim is a pedal worth checking out if that’s your thing
  14. Only I’ve a decent valve preamp in my gigging amp this could well be mine already.
  15. I'd have this but can't collect however I'll be in Leeds in a week or two, maybe down as far as Sheffield and across to Manc and back up to Scotland. Just working uot details of a wee road trip - going to Leeds/Northern Monk Brewery then cutting across to Cloudwater...perhaps before back up to Scotland.
  16. I’ve owned this model power amp in the past and it’s fantastic. Having that tone control really is a great feature and more useful than one might initially think.
  17. Great price for a superb pedal board ‘brain’ unit
  18. I can imagine this going into the power amp section of a bass amp - all tube EQ let's not forget with a huge range of tweakability and more control than an amp EQ - would sound divine
  19. Cheers👍🏽
  20. Flats tend to sound 'duller' but have more going on in the mid range so a Lomenzo pedal sounds to me anyways as a perfect compliment to what you are trying to achieve. I'm really tempted to put a T bird pick up in a p bass but with a Lull costing £250 it'd nearly be wiser to pick up an Embassy bass for what they cost new!
  21. It's in a queue Fixed it for you Al Have you been banned form comp chat? You should start a new compressor related forum with a .comp web address
  22. Another stonker!! You sir are killing me!!
  23. Mr Painy bought some strings from me and was very patient when he noticed I’d forgotten to add the G string - it nearly went out in the rubbish but was saved!! Swift payment and good comms. I’d have no hesitation dealing with this chap again.
