1. That blazer looks lovely :-)
2. Not anything very exciting for this thread. But this is my first venture into an all valve head.............n oi bloody loves it :-) took a bit of tweaking at first ,pump up the mids ,drop the bass to a quarter and never use the high and low boosts.....sounds okish on its own but totaly amazing in the mix,it cuts and cuts and cuts :-).(bit of a naff camera phone pic)
3. In a heavy band...... Check out the cog effects grand tarkin. I have had both the ehx muff and the pickle, but the tarkin has a mids knob and a blend, so it is easy to have a thunderous filthy sound yet still cut in the mix. I'm using a civil war clone at the moment, but for heavy songs the tarkin is awsome and can't be beat! ( imo of course).
4. Let me know if this falls through please.
5. is this 9v? cheers
6. Haha..just this second changed em, Playing 1+7 ( mosfet and germanium) Was using led on both for a while (2 + 9 I think)
7. Thinned it right down to dirt! Just got the dopefx civil war fuzz,I've tried hard to like fuzz in the past having had many and not really felt it.... This 1 is most excellent :-)
8. Don't do it!! Considering the wait for 1 of these and price this is an absolute bargain..... Do I need 2 :-D
9.
thats interesting! i had the total opposite experiance with the ampeg, its def not a baby 810 it sounds a lot different for me it had alot of lows! and for me the tweeter was pointless! i eventually went for the ashdown mag 810 and cant speak highly enough of it! its got a big fat sound nice mid presence and it very easy to move around! so can only imagine a abm 610 being awesome! andy
i also always use it without the tweeter (it is crap) great cab for dirt and rock music
10. Iv'e had 8x10 s and 4x10s a plenty in the past (to big or to small),iv'e had my ampeg 6x10 for a fair few years now and for me..... i bloody love it :-) the end of the day i guess it's all down to what kind of music you play and your needs.
11. depending on the day ,i'd certainly be up for it :-)

19. Castors trolleys and bandmates..... Easypeasy :-)
20. I've just been converted. It was odd,I was playing through a tech21vt into hartke lh500 into a ampeg 6x10. then got myself a freshly retubed and serviced svt cl. First practice everything was noonish ( didn't have much time to fiddle)...... And I must say I was slightly disappointed in not getting the sound I imagined it would have! Read up a bit and was recommended to forget about the low/high boost buttons drop the bass to a quarter, trebble just past noon and mid 3quarters.... With the selector at 2.......tried it at the next practice... Pure beautiful sound :-) I play in a queens of the stone age esq band ( cgcf) and it cuts like a bitch
