  1. She's a candy apple red with matching headstock 05 model, and a US spec so she has Japanese built American pickups and hardware and a bound neck, the bridge has been swapped out for a Badass II, the pickups are currently Shed spirits, customs modeled on Geddy Lee's tone. The E tuner is a little bent but fully functional. However in a moment of drunken madness at a cottage in deepest darkest west Wales I decided to relic it so parts of the finish on the body are missing but it doesnt look too bad, ive actually had compliments on it!
  2. Fancy it rich?
  3. I worried about getting rid of the P I got off Si too, mine was a 70s RI jap one. I wanted to keep it as a sort of tribute but I realised it should be getting played, not looked at. Plus Tredders was excited to be getting a bass that had come via Si so I don't think it was a bad thing in the end.
  4. It's with a heavy heart that Im offering my T-40 up for sale. I've had ages but it just isnt getting used. Since my Shuker landed my SB has become my backup and as much as it sucks the old T could do with finding a new home. The bass in question is a 1978 build, meaning it has the early model Toaster pickups and a slightly wider neck than the later Blade models. It's original apart from the switches which broke and have been replaced with similar but not identical ones. Natural oil finished body and maple neck. The body is showing some signs of wear but is completely solid. The neck has had the varnish sanded off the back of it but is straight and in good condition, head stock has a few dings, nothing out of the ordinary for a 25+ year old bass. The threads on here speak for themselves about how great these basses are so I won't bore you with technical details. Heres a pic for illustrative purposes, Ill put more up when I get the bass out of storage. Comes with non original hard case. I'd rather sell but trades are always an option, think Warwick, Sandberg, anything active really, preferably with atleast one MM pickup or 70s/80s jap built stuff like Ibanez, westone, aria etc. Status Groove, try me. £400
  5. do all sandbergs have the same neck profile? Id also love a basic but having played a Cali J/MM I really dont like the neck width.
  6. I'd have this in a heart beat if I could afford it. I'm having a cull soon, would you be interested in my CIJ jazz plus cash if I managed to shift enough stuff?

Would love to see another one if these! Cheers. [/quote] Talk of the devil! I'm slowly getting there, recently got a headless shuker and no longer see why basses with heads continue to be built. Get with the times earth!

  23. They are beautiful, it looks like if you sat them down they'd be resting on their tuners if you didn't have a stand though? Is that an issue?
