  1. What kind of Musicman are you looking for?
  2. I think they look good, but I bet they sound sh*t.
  3. The only fault I can pick with my T-40 really is that it doesn't really like being detuned to CGCF and because half our set is tuned as such I use my Ray alot too.
  4. Well Eric I like my toast golden brown so roughly number 4 is ample, although if you're talking about my pickups I set both tones to around 7 ie just before they hit single coil (I really need to do the mod that stops them going single coil) and use the pickup selector as a tone switch, so depending on desired sound for a song I'll use the neck pickup on it's own or both together, never the bridge on it's own though, it just doesn't suit my playing, I find myself adjusting the tone setting of the solo'd neck pickup alot too, mostly for the differences in attack/decay you get depending on how it's set though as opposed to for the EQ. I use rotosound strings religiously too, 45-105, I've tried Ernie Ball, D'adario, DR, R.Cocco, Elites, Picato and god knows what else but roto are definatly the boys for me. I'm still really curious as to what a later rail equipped T-40 would do for me though.
  5. Just thought you might like to know I have found complete tonal perfection and it is a T-40 and a sansamp though an orange AD200 and 8x10 rig. I feel genuinely sorry for anyone who never gets to experience it. That is all.
  6. Bumpy ride!
  7. Bumptastic
  8. That's a lovely bit of kit, if I had any money....
  9. Good lord Javier! This is beautiful. You always seem to be selling the nicest basses.
  10. As the organiser of the fallen through one I'd be game, all my gear with the acception of one or two basses is stored at music box too
  11. Any trades? I have a lovely CIJ jazz in CAR with matching headstock and dot and bound neck, comes with original pickups but also has a set of custom wound ones and has a badass, only slight issue is a not to bad looking home relic job. I love the bass, just after a P/J .
  12. Hi Adam, I have a CIJ JB-66 US with custom pickups and a badass if you fancy a trade? It's had a slightly sketchy home relic job but nothing too bad. Candy Apple red with matching headstock and a dot and bound neck plays like lightning and sounds great! I just prefer P/J.
  13. That is lush! The shape of these reminds me of pac man
  14. If I had some cash I'd bite your arms and legs off for the butterscotch one. these look amazing! You buying another Dingwall?
  15. Wish I could afford this
  16. As it goes it is, it's had a dodgy home relic job, new pickups and a badass though.
  17. Also yammy BB?
  18. Would you fancy a trade for a CIJ JB-66 US? A 66 RI jazz in candy apple red with some extras
  19. Fender aerodyne jazz?
  20. If it's in yen that's more like £5,000? What currency is it in?
  21. Body neck and pickup are still here! Bump.
  22. I wouldn't have bought a 5 string Warwick streamer S1, that was an expensive mistake!
  23. It's a lovely bass too GW! I like the dingwalls as you know. Blocks work on that because it's more J shaped than P, and is very contemporary, but I don't like blocks on standard p shapes, case in point this one. The duck dunn Lakland too looks clumsy to me, even more so with the matching head stock. I just think dots suit them better.
  24. I like this! I don't think you'll find a better 6 without spending hundreds more.
