For Sale my trusty Roland DB700 £250 This beast is very compact but pumps out 250w of power and it seems much louder than this due to it the FFP technology (Forward Feed Processing). I have to be honest I rarely had this further than 1/4 round the dial, when playing pubs or clubs. It's in used but very good condition no tears in the carpet covering just a couple of little paint chips on the operating panel but nothing major. Has side handles for lifting and castors for easy transportation. The specs 3 band EQ with semi parametric mid range, adjustable compression, chorus 3 digital amp model types - solid state, valve and overdriven, with volume and gain settings. Rated Power Output 250 W Speakers 15” (38 cm) x 1, Horn Tweeter x 1 Memory A, B (2 memories) Connectors Input (High, Low), Headphone, Balanced DI, Insert (Send, Return), Line Out (XLR, balanced, 1/4” TRS Phone, balanced), Foot Switch (TIP: A/B, Ring: Manual, Chorus) Accessory Casters x 4 Size and Weight ( Incl. casters ) Width 578 mm 22-13/16 inches Depth 407 mm 16-1/16 inches Height 598 mm 23-9/16 inches Weight 34.0 kg 75 lbs link to the website for this amp - http://www.roland.com/PRODUCTS/en/DB-700/index.html This is a great bass amp and sounds just fantastic. Cheers Jem
Hi - is this still on the Market? I am in London

If you get one try putting it into the effects loop return, its got enough level to drive the power amp directly - that usually sounds better?
Thanks tho this is an ancient ancient Peavey TNT 100 with no fx loop facility so I shall have to go in serial before the ME50..........
 3.
Received mine today, gave it a fair go, and going to keep it as I have no other FX at the moment apart from a Boss OC-2. I think when it comes to valve simulation this pedal has basically got everything you want, and it really has the wooly Ampeg sound you would expect from a VT pedal.
Hi All Brand new to this site having temp returned to bass playing after a 20 year absence playing guitar, in order to help out a band in need! I bought an Ibanez SRX 590 (which is a joy to play) and paired it with an ancient Peavey TNT 100 which was going very cheap - £50!! An interesting combination of tones, but not a great deal of 'ooomph' - I have added an ME 50 B into the mix too for reverb, chorus, tuning, wah and delay However, you get what u pay for i guess and I was looking for a cost effective way to enrich the 'rig' and stumbled on the Sansamp VT thread.... I play pub gigs with a fairly aggressive sounding rock covers band and need to cut through a pair of tube amped guitars Would this gadget give me the boost I need and do the trick, do you think? Many thanks! Kol
