1.
I think it has been posted elsewhere. We have a fair bit of spare space on the BC server so it might be worth Phatmonkey dropping him a line and seeing what the score is.
good idea kiwi
 2.
where dat? been working on Fishergate for a week, looks like I need to venture further than M&S for me butty
From the Fishergate side of town you head across the ringroad at the bottom of Corporation St,head up towards the Uni and it's the first road on the right,(just after where Maplins used to be)head towards Friargate and its the first shop on the right. ps, nice gear Al.
 3. You should always use line level leads for equipment like this,ie xlr or instrument leads.Speaker leads are just for speakers.
 4. Thats a great album,Its also on spotify if you search for Blinky.Whilst you're there check out her version of "The hunter gets captured by the game",IIRC they gave this one to someone else in the Motown stable but i reckon this one's by far the best version of the song.
 5. DR Sunbeams might be the way to go.I've tried 4 or 5 different makes on my Spunky Jazz and to my ears they give me the best tone. They feel very nice under the fingers too. Saying that though i did'nt get on with slinky's until i tried a hybrid set on my Ibby Blazer last week. They're keepers on that bass for sure.
 6.
Nearest I have come to the tone recently was with Kennyrodg's Spunky bass (£285.00) imported which I think is an outstanding bass.
I've kinda gone all red now, cheers Paul, that's a very nice compliment. The more i play it the more it grows on me.
 7. Loads better than the previous issue i thought.I'd have to agree with the points about the range run thru's.A couple more gear reviews in the space used would have made more interesting reading. On a more positive note i'm glad to see it's coming out monthly and so it should.
 8. Well i saw you browsing and just could'nt resist. I can concur with the above statement albeit in my very limited experience. My 2 4x10's sound better together than my 1x15-4x10.

 13.
Great bassline - it's a shame that at one stage a lot of people decided that's ALL you need for a great song.
How d'ya mean Funk ??

I'll defy anyone who says that this bass line aint Funky Well anyone except tBBC ..........in case i get a slap.
 16. Oh Dear oh dear oh deary deary me. This is going to be soooooooo much fun. I have to say though that my rig sounds better with 2 4x10's rather than the 1x15 and 4x10.I tried the 15 again on monday night just to be sure i was'nt dreaming and yeah,it was'nt as nice as the 2 410's.
