    Hey all you cab guru's. I have 2 12" eminence beta 12A's going spare.When i put the T/S parameters into win isd its coming out with a box that's 58" x 33" x 20" !! Thats a big bloody cab,cant be right surely.Am i doing something wrong. Cheers.

    Thanks for replies chaps. I did check in with pete (greeneking) before but just to be sure. If i go from the amp into my 8 ohm cab then out of that into the 4 ohm cab I'll get the 2.6 ohms.I got that bit.If i use just one of the outputs from the amp will it see an even 2.6 ohms or will the second cab in the chain (the 4 ohm one)still get more power than the first.Other than that will the amp see them both as just one 2.6 ohm cab ?? sorry for the confusion.

    Hey folks. As i'll be the new owner of a 2ohm capable head in the coming days i'm wondering if i can re wire one of my 410's to a 4 ohm cab instead of 8 ohm.The four drivers are all 8 ohm each.The cab in question is 600 watts capable so it'll be grand as owt if i can. PS,i can't afford a new cab. Apologies if this has been covered before and thanks in advance.

    Am i right in saying that if you pair the cab with an 8 ohmer the amp will run at 2.6 ohms or thereabouts ?? Awaits the wrath of BF :ph34r:

    Thanks for the replies guys. Well i'm ok with 12,8 etc bar formats and the major,minor pentatonics and different feels too.I think the best way to describe what i'm looking for is variations of the theme and runs between chord changes and into the turnarounds. I have a blues bass book but its very limited and i'm struggling to find notation/tab for what i'm looking for. Cheers.

    Hey Folks. I have a Martin DM Dreadnought acoustic for a very reluctant sale. I bought the guitar new in 2003 and then went on to have a Fishman matrix and ellipse blend pickup fitted. These guitars are roundabout the £6/700 mark new and the pickup was over £200 when i bought it and had it pro installed. The guitar is in lovely condition and sounds wonderfull as you'd expect from a Martin.Played live through an amp or FOH/PA is even better.It's had very light use in all the time i've had it.It comes in a none Martin hard case.     Good effort. My home setup now consists of Ampeg svx software,my laptop and a Cambridge 2.1 speaker system.It's just the job,nice and simple,sounds great too.

    I wouldnt go that far Al, i cant stand football really,especially all the booyah bollocks that goes with it. But .......if i had to choose one out the two i'm afraid it wouldnt be Liverpool.
