Hey guys time for me to shift some gear! I love my sixer but unfortunatly it's going to have to go in favour of a nice amp deal! Basic specs I know are: 2x MMB pick-ups, active electronics, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, ash-body, die-cast machine heads and chrome hardware. Colour: Transparent Black. All of which are found on here http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_hbb...tring_ebass.htm I've had numours compliments about its tone for a low end bass and a great introduction into the world of six strings! Only has minor wear and needs a longer screw for the battery compartment but I'll show that in the pictures. Will post pictures tonight or tomorrow when I've sorted my computer properly. Looking for £85 collected from Buxton (Inbetween Manchester/Derby)

A quick few pictures just taken. Its collected some dust that I probably should of cleaned off before taking this pictures but apart from that the only damage is the missing plastic cover on one of the equalizer sliding bars, which is still easy to use. got a few scratches and the castors have a few scratches and dinks but its doing pretty well! Hey guys I'm moving place soon and need to shift some of my much loved gear! I can't say I Actually know much about this amp apart from after searching online alot of people call it the loudest 80watt amp they've heard! I brought it about 2-3 years ago and it hasn't seem much action but I dont know any of the history apart from it being owned by Presoulnation before me. I believe these were made during the 70's and 80's but I cant confirm that as this is just what I've read online. Pick from Buxton (between Manchester/Derby) only as I cant afford to travel with me moving out! All going well I should be able to get some pictures up tomorrow night. Looking for £50 on this now please. Cheers

Thats a good point and I will look into those scotchbrite pads thanks guys!
If it bugs you that much you have to ask yourself: "Why do I want to hang onto a bass I don't get on with? Either I sell it, or rub the gloss down on the neck and make it something I want to hang on to" Get some fine scotchbrite pads from Homebase or B&Q and gently rub the gloss off the neck, its not as drastic as wire wool or sandpaper and it makes the neck silky smooth.
Ive been thinking of taking the painted finish off my self but I feel that doing anything to it in the visual side will make it lose a fair bit of value As for selling and just buying a musicman stingray, I'm currently unemployed so getting the money to make us the rest would require selling my amp. Thats why this is just an idea at the moment because when I get a job if its possible I might look into getting a musicman neck.
