3. I own a musicman SUB5 and have spent alot of time on a musicman stringray4 now personal opinions, the musicman four was indeed an unbelievable sounding bass and the set up was PERFECT BUT you could get a status set up by a pro and it could be even better! now, even though i do own a musicman, i personally would go for a status as i prefer the overall feel and great choice in tones and i definatly recommend either an S2000 or a S2 classic, (classic for me personally) yes their more expensive than a musicman but my god, youll feel the difference! Cai
4. i have recently purchased a musicman SUB5 off a friend and I'm wondering what kind of information the serial holds! any help will be appriciated Cai
5. thats a complete deal at that price!!!! someones going to be very happy!
6. Thats lovely! your ideas are great! thats a really interesting take on a jazz bass and brings alot of ideas to mind! is this made to a customer spec then? or are you keeping it or just a straight sale to the first person?
7. thank you very muchly guys! ive been wanting a status for a while but the only problem is, if i get aa four stringer ill have to string it BEAG (because of the silly metal tunings we use ) would this be ok with fretless? i mean i know you get fretless basses with like 5-6 strings but im just worried about the price of a set of strings! haha
8. musicman sub 5? (fretted) hahaha i dont even know if i want a fretless i just had a pleasent experience with one in a music shop this week and its made me more confident with them but a fretless in a metal band? hahaha am i really asking for the right thing here?

15.
What sort of thing are you looking for, trade wise?
Trade wise, I'm seriously considering anything, I'm in a "lets try something new mood" Just show me what you got and I shouldn't take too long to reply! As for a status neck on an olp body, yes its been done quiet a few times but as I've not tried it myself I'm not sure if you'd have to make any adjustments to the body and/or neck.

They really are truly stunning instruments, I think I'll aim to get one of these in the future! My love for Wal came when I went to see Tool live and saw how truly beautiful the instrument was! Cai
