  1. Thanks guys, I think I’ll just keep it simple and go in one side of my MS-60B and out the other
  2. Hi everyone Does anyone use a Boss LS-2 or similar with their digital effects unit ( zoom etc ) to mix in thee unaffected Bass signal with noticeable positive results ? Thanks
  3. Does this same cancellation effect 12'' and 15" multiple speaker Cabs ?
  4. Wow, I have never seen one of these before. I bet that sounds clean and loud ! It reminds me of a Space Shuttle Control Panel GLWTS
  5. That’s correct , they don’t make a 15 anymore, try a decent modern 12 or 10 inch cab and see how it compares to your 15. You may be pleasantly surprised or pleasantly disappointed.
  6. Check out the Barefaced Bass site as it has some good technical info https://barefacedbass.com/technical-information.htm And their cabs are very good from my experience
  7. These are great little amps and sound good as a pre too
  8. My Brother in law lives there and we visited in December a few years back, Charles Bridge was rammed, it was snowing, the night markets were great and we visited a craft brewery ( http://www.klasterni-pivovar.cz ). There were lots of buskers around the castle complex and street food too. Its an easy place to have fun and just walk about Enjoy
  9. Last night I turned up the pre to full on my Session 77 with a 9v active bass and there was no clipping. I will have a play with my Zoom MS 60B to find a happy amount of boost to add to my patches. I think with a higher input signal you will notice a significant volume increase with you PJB

    Boss RCL-10

Has anyone used one of the BOSS RCL-10's ? I am thinking of using buying one and using it as Limiter in the FX send of a mixer to protect the speakers from any spikes.
  11. I don't own a Double Bass or EUB but have some experience with PJB amps, I have an active bass and the Pre Amp on my Double Four and Session 77 is at 3 O'Clock , I have found the PJB Preamps like a lot of input signal and have tried this with a Zoom MS-60B and boosted the input with favourable results.

  13. These cost more than your average amp and do sound better https://www.eastgatemusic.com.au/product/phil-jones-session-77-bass-combo/
  14. I bought a Buster 200 in 2000 and still have it after dragging it half way around the world, I couldn't sell mine as it sounds lovely. GLWTS
  15. I can’t see anything ? I’m on mobile though
  16. The PJB Session 77 sounds very good and represents your instruments sound with minimal colouration. I liked the TC BG 250 combos eq set points but returned it in favour of a Markbass 802 as the mark was clearer/louder and lighter. I compared the Session 77 and EBS 60 and the PJB won by a mile in sound reproduction
  17. I picked up a Double Four at a excellent price a few months ago and am very tempted to go shopping again as its my birthday
  18. I have bought off this mob previously and got an alert of a Sale !!! https://www.muziker.co.uk/search?q=phil+Jones+bass
  19. Or you could keep the amp and add a pre amp or pedal. Zoom Ms-60B's are £69 new from PMT on eBay and they have amp sims and pre amp pedal sims.
  20. I picked up a MS-60B the other day and had a quick play with the tonelib software and I think I will be occupied for months, there is so many options
  21. I have heard about Tonlib, I will set up a few hpf and comp patches to start then have a play with the drives and amp sims
  22. I’m taking a brave first step into multi effects and ordered a zoom MS-60B, pmt selling them for £69 including postage on evilbay
  23. I think roland do a few battery powered amps but not sure if they handle bass.
