Erm. TC Nether - Having owned multiple OC-2’s I started looking for another. Damn they’re expensive for what they are…gone are the days of a £55 Taiwanese OC-2. Anyhow - this does the same job…within reason. Really like it actually. The Zero Fret - Dod Bi-Fet pre clone with built in Fuzz (2 stages of fuzz)… Honestly, the mightiest bass fuzz I’ve heard; does well for warm fluffy drive as a pre…also works beautifully for guitar. Hopefully @walshy forgets that I have it… Korg Pitchblack - Decent tuner came up cheaply and completes the board. Missing is the Dunlop volume pedal - it’s massive and won’t go on the board so I forgot to photograph it. Cheap PSU, no mad big draw on any of the pedals so this will do for £35.

A Korg pitchblack tuner… I will post in pedalboards as my little board is now complete.

https://on.soundcloud.com/Gr2vtjQ7Zah7TL6G8 There’s a hole in the sky… Just randomly played a bass run and thought, I like that for the composition thing… so it’s quite an early entry, but I enjoyed doing it - that 6/8 push pull tension, fear of a hole, in the sky… Shergold, Yamaha guitars (Pacifica/FG acoustic) and some synth pack on GarageBand… I give you… ”Hole in the Sky”

Lovely basses these, done a few tweaks and pickup mods in my time on these - particularly when Fieldy (Korn) was playing similar basses. -

Looks like a Zzounds “exclusive” so we won’t see them. -

Allianz have covered me for years - since touring days. my entire rig from straps (some expensive bits of leather) to my basses… in the house, out of the house, unattended car, worldwide ETC think it’s £6 a month. when I really whittled my basses back a few months ago, it was an enormous £3.70 a month.

Also, the bridge and body for the new ones still knock me sick. Personally… -

This used to be called ”Buy a musicman bass” I’ve been out for years - won’t buy anything new by them again. I used to love doing special orders for people. even did one myself at one point. -

I sort of want to find a tatty but functional one, have it sprayed metallic brown and have the old Marathon chocolate bar logo on the mini pickguard… I’ve started with an idiotic idea and it won’t go away…

The last 3 of these I’ve had in my hands have been sub 9lbs. which, when my Ripper is pushing 11 is like lifting a Lego brick after moving Atlas stones
-
Nut width - 43mm - but very shallow. Weight. The scales I put out on the side for a new battery, which I’ve been out to buy… Have now been ”tidied away” - and she’s off out to watch city/villa with the lad. Now, by my patented hold in the hand and guess within 10% method…8.5lbs.

Just tidying in prep for 5 year old turning 6 tomorrow… will do some measuring in a bit x

Yeah - under the truss Rod cover is a stamp finishing in 80, meaning it’s one of the later ones - no flaky finish, and a “long horn” - pretty cool. There were some of these bodies still knocking about until a few years ago apparently. The case is hilariously aged - covered in stickers from 1992/1991 gigs for “Konkrete Hamster”
