Nowt’s changed, I usually just go for a Wazz in a busy pub toilet if I want blokes I don’t know to laugh at my smaller equipment...

I’m not great with hofner. I’ll say 1958-60 and about £800-£1000 probably hugely out. they go between £300 and £600 when a bit roughed up.

Erb70 - like a Christmas package beginners bass. Great for £30 though. Drop a nicer pickup in and you’ve got a decent (24 fret) precision...

Hmm. This is a great sound...not sure a P would do much for it either way. It’s just so compact 🤔
