  4. Used and paintwork has faded in areas and chip to paintwork. Neck unmarked. Plays and sounds great but because of the finish this is reflected in the price. Either keep playing the s**t out of it and don't care about the finish or great project to refinish. 6. Every time a burner comes up at BD and BB I have to convince myself I really don't want/need... thankfully they sell really quickly so I don't have the pain too long. Congratulations that's a lovely bass.
  7. Shared before but I changed the tuners to save some weight and have less neck dive. Upgraded to Aguilar pickups and in doing so needed a new plate. Which I got a luthier just to do whatever he wanted. And loved the final shape. Oh and added flush straplocks. Also made a quick ramp.
  8. Chappells in MK used to have loads of these of I'd go in and slap every Saturday. My first brand of 'i want that' but never did. Great basses.
  9. Anyone got a good courier recommendation from Republic of Ireland to mainland UK?
  10. I really really like this. Seafoam and ex-RHT... If I can shift a couple of basses I'll check back in.
  11. I've done so on both my EHB1005MS and EHB1005SMS with no issues. I used Warwick Black Label sets if I remember.
  12. Wow. I used to lust over these after watching bill the Buddha dickens video when I was younger. That's a crazy price.
  13. Bought a used Ibanez GWB1 for used GWB35 price as they didn't know what the model was. That said I sold my 1994 Yamaha TRB6 for a stupid price as a student. I still want it back today knowing I'll likely have to pay 3 or more times what it went for.
  14. https://www.dropbox.com/s/d9ww67wuro3hfup/2003_Yamaha_Catalog.pdf?e=1&dl=0 page 28 is your model Also online checker says your bass is Japan built in December 2003 production model 069
  15. Yes the tax on full value. It's basically 20% extra which is a real shame.
  16. I'd be all over this at that price if was in the UK. It even has the John East and knobs that I put on all my Ibanez Basses. GLWTS.
  17. It is actually as I took it down from sale but was thinking of putting up again. I'll message you.
  18. There are a few Frekvens hack/prints I'd love! Happy to pay too https://teenage.engineering/store/boombox https://teenage.engineering/store/chicken-legs/ What do you think?
  19. Hello. Are there any fret markings of any sort on side of neck?
  20. It has the ceramic driver from DB series Vs standard SL drivers.
  21. Love my Aguilar rig. And they've just dropped these: http://www.aguilaramp.com/cabinet-series/sl-series-cabinets/ In 3 colourways... Partial to picking up one of the Chocolate brown or Fawn to save moving about the 12s for small practices.
  22. Until recently all my 5 strings were high C, just what I prefer. I can vouch for the short scale Ibanez TMB35 that I've modded a bit and it's also E-C. I also have the EHB1005SMS short scale fanned fret thats worth looking at depending on budget, but a few floating around used at the moment. Both are Warwick Black label high C 5 string sets. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CEAh3S0HwdP/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
  23. Posted elsewhere on other threads...but here is a SB5000 I bought used from this forum a while ago. Love it. Always now keep an eye out for other SB Carvins as I love the shape.
  24. Jamaladeen Tacuma on left and I think Al MacDowell on right. Another video of him with bass later on:
  25. Sorry I don't have exact measurements but it was basically the width of the installed bartolini and just a fraction more as the gap between bridge and pickup. On the geb35 this was a custom dual coil nordstrand with coil tap from beepre
