NOW £55 POSTED! Pedaltrain Nano in top condition with (soft side) velcro attached. Harley Benton ISO-5 PSU velcro'd to the underside. Cracking little PSU - 5 outputs, two are switchable 9/12/18V, I've had it for a while and used it a lot, it's never missed a beat. Full spec and blurb here: https://www.thomann.co.uk/harley_benton_powerplant_iso_5_pro.htm Includes replacement myvolts power adapter/adaptor (which cost about £17 as I recall) as well as the original (euro plug with clunky adapter/adaptor - it'll do as a spare). The myvolts needs a polarity reverser, (which is also included), the original doesn't. Includes 5 pedal power leads and a reverse polarity lead for the LEDs. And TWO free velcro cable ties! The LEDs are remote controllable, different colours (to match your shoes), they can fade, they can flash in time to the music, they're utterly stupid, pointless and completely fantastic. Includes soft carrying case with decent sized front pocket and shoulder strap. This has never been used and is in mint condition. I'd rather sell these together, but I'll change my tune if they're still here in a week or two. £55 posted or £50 collected from Bewdley DY12 I go to Brum and Worcester a lot, I'm in Manchester a few times over the next month, happy to meet up or possibly deliver. Any questions (about the item) please ask.

What if you like playing more than one type of music?!
-
I find it hard to believe that anyone's *so* busy they can't find an hour somewhere to look over some stuff they'll be playing live! Unless their other bands are Dragonforce/Dream Theater tributes, in which case, I'd probably believe them!

I'm in lots of bands/dep occasionally and the golden rule (as others have said) is: If you've said yes to a gig and it's in your diary, you do it. I've just had to turn down a well paid wedding gig as I'll be up in Manchester (playing for next to nothing - an old mate's originals band) next weekend. This gig was organised months ago, so I'm doing it. If you start ducking out of gigs for better paid ones, people will quickly stop asking you to gig... you're only as good as your word. Use Google calendar and encourage everyone else to - this makes everyone's life a LOT easier and cuts down the potential for oopsies in my experience. As someone above said - if someone in your band is getting offered stuff like IOW festival.... that'd be a different matter. I'd imagine they've made that pretty clear from the outset! And as someone else said - get a few deps on board! As for people turning up to gigs/rehearsals without having practiced... that's just laziness, surely?!

I've worked with a few singers I'd like to do that to!

What's the weight of the singer (in Kilderkins) please?

Cheap first gigging amp - advice needed
StingRayBoy42 replied to YellowLedBetterBass's topic in Amps and Cabs
There's a fine looking Ashdown combo on here at the mo https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/512727-ashdown-abm-300-1x15-combo/ I have no links to the seller, but I have no doubt he's a fine upstanding fellow - he's a Basschatter. -
Jo sold me some straplocks - an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Diolch!

Yeah, I know - been toying with the idea for ages. It does mean shelling out on a tablet though!

To FX Loop, or not to FX Loop... that is the question.
StingRayBoy42 replied to Rich's topic in Effects
Isn't 'conventional wisdom' that stuff like delay works better in the loop and stuff like drive/OD work better in front of the amp? (Full disclosure: I've never used an FX loop)
