1. Reviving this thread, she's holding down Paloma's low end with the same aplomb
2. Great little vid with amp settings too http://youtu.be/TN1avjiSNWM
3. Thanks PAS, yes it's specced ridiculously well for the money, I'll definitely own another bass with Big Singles at some point. Going to give this another day or two then probably take up a trade offer on the table

6. Selling my SR1205, fantastic condition, huge sound, top notch materials and build quality. Trades for Jazz style basses possible or Lakland 55-02. Pickup Bath preferred but will drive to meet within reason, or have a box so will post if really necessary The SR1205 has a 5-piece wenge/bubinga neck with KTS™ Titanium rods, and a rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium frets and abalone oval position inlays. The fret edges are specially rounded for smooth play and comfortable neck grip. 7. Worth getting there early for Ulysses too
8. Insanely cheap for such a quality instrument
9. I'm good thanks, trying not to GAS over this beauty!
10.
That's a realistic goal that most of us share. Blue
Yes this. And enjoying it is the reward
11. Active circuits tend to scoop the mids, even when you add them back I find they don't seem to have the natural focussed resonance of a passive instrument. As an aside Flea favours a low action, go figure!! http://youtu.be/3ARZGwfhC_U
