      I've got a DC-8 under my Pedaltrain.

      Slightly annoying the connectors they use, but I think the choice may be because it allows them to make the case smaller.

If someone sought your guidance on what they might get you, then that is not allowed, you willingly engaged in the acquisition of gear that could have otherwise been avoided (directed the purchaser to another gift etc).     SOLD I actually really like this bass, it's only up while there's something available that I'd like, one in one out at the moment. Mine is absolutely brand-new condition, minty mint as if you'd bought it from a shop. I purchased new around 3 months ago, hasn't done a gig, hasn't been out the house since it arrived. I've set it up nicely with La Bella flatwound strings, so it has that classic P sound, with the added B, none of those awful Fender rounds that come with it haha. Of course, original Fender hardcase (which is excellent I might add) and all case candy etc. As mentioned, I really like this bass, but there's another available that I'd like to get back hold of. If that sells, I'm keeping this as it's great. Will get a weight asap, although I believe Fender make these fairly standardly in the 9.5lb mark ball-park (or so their live chat tells me). It balances really nicely on a strap. SOLD Cheers Si

    Yeah Rob makes some amazing instruments, nice guy too! I have an Expat blacked-out 5er and it’s fantastic. Probably only a matter of time before I make the upgrade to a hand-built one though lol Si

    I wonder if we might setup a slightly more friendly ‘Gear Watchers’ type setup. Instead of failing the year by purchasing, we list everyone taking part in the first post, then the month they’ve been ‘abstinent’ from next to it. You buy/acquire something, the month updates to the latest. That way, some of us might get to the end of the year with at least 2 or 3 months completed haha. Less impressive, but perhaps more friendly to ourselves. Si

    SOLD I have a Moollon P coming soon, and so this is up for sale after only having house playing time. Absolutely as brand-new, mint condition. Great basses for the money, well made, great fit and finish and sounds cool too. No case (as is standard with these), so collection/meet-up preferred from or near Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe or perhaps London. My kitchen scales are showing it as bang-on 9lbs Sale only at this point, no trades thanks. Cheers Si

    Based in west Herts (Hemel), but all gigs considered, traveling no issue fee pending. Professional gear and attitude, basses to suit the gig. Currently play in a couple of Pop/Rock/Motown type functions bands, but happy with most genres (within reason haha). Get in touch Cheers Si

    I have two of the following Maruszczyk padded leather straps: https://www.public-peace.de/index.php/accessories/straps/maruszczyk-instruments/1043-pes40-retro One with the M logo in that position, and one without an M logo. I have a dark leather one and a lighter leather one, I'm not with them, so I don't recall which has the logo, photos later when I get home. Currently I'm only selling one, although I might be letting both go. ON HOLD Great condition simply with some typical leather ageing (no cracks or anything). Cheers Si

    I've got a Player Precision and think that it's absolutely fine. I'm not blown away by it, it's a £500-600 bass, so it should be pretty decent IMO. But it sounds great, built very well, fit and finish is excellent, so yeah.........decent! Si

You’re still seeking to acquire gear. - Strings, picks and consumables allowed (within reason, long-term accessories like a new strap aren’t allowed) - Educational purchases (books, courses etc) are allowed - Replacement of a broken thing is allowed *Nuances: If you paid for something in 2019, you may take delivery of it in 2020. If you deposited for something in 2019, you can pay the balance in 2020, but you’re on a yellow card 😉. Si
