    Being custom winds, they can do any tension you want, just tell them the tuning you want to use primarily and any problems you had before...and they'll do their best! Be aware though, especially for those going for C tunings and lower, that very high tension strings probably won't tune up to standard...and if they get there, probably would feel waaaayyyy to tight. Drop D should be fine though, haven't tried. Si

    I have the white version of this bass. I purchased it from here just so I had a working 5 string, and I haven't been disappointed, sooo much bass for the money Wide spacing (standard 4 string jazz spacing), but as a result, it doesn't feel alien at all if you're mainly a 4 player! Si

    Saw him maybe 4 years ago at Shepherds Bush Empire just after 'Trouble' came out! Was brilliant, although not very talkative lol, he had a different bass player then, playing what looked like an Azola style EUB. Si

    Yeah I guess sending either a Midget or a Big Baby round the opposite way would solve the problem and provide people with some context between the ranges! I'm in the same boat as Crez, pretty full on gigs wise. Good stuff Si
