1. Thanks for the offer, just had a listen and not really for me, thanks Si
2. Hi guys, I got hold of a Earthquaker Devices Pitch Bay from the Circuits To Cure Cancer auctions this year: http://earthquakerde...tab-description Its a cool pedal, but I don't really have a use for it currently, my Earthquaker Organizer and Boss PS-6 are doing the job at the mo. This pedal is number #439 and absolutely as new, with presentation bag, box, paperwork, stickers etc. Trade wise I'm open, I've got a lot of effects but can always be tempted with weird & rare stuff WHY? Perhaps envelope filters (not MXR or Source Audio) Could also be tempted with a Pedaltrain Nano + cash/trades I can post a picture if needed, however as mentioned, as new and boxed. SOLD Cheers Si
3. This is the exact model I'll take on when I'm ready to get Poultone off the ground properly. As a one person operation, why stress yourself out and potentially disappoint customers when you can just build a batch and sell them when ready. Plenty of pedal builders do this, including Mr Black. Si
4. Juan is playing in London on Thursday, so either the stars are aligned and you should sell to him.....or you're actually the man himself Si
5. Whoa, don't see many of these around, thought I was the only member on here with one Got any pictures? Condition? Boxed? Cheers Si
6.
This is the craziest pastime Sibob, but interested enough to rip mine from the board this morning and have a look. ( 194400) Japan so pray tell what date is this one
Haha, it's a bit strange huh Yours is June '82, I'll add it today Cheers Si

DOD Meatbox

Bit of both. Complexly build, number of components, the main obsolete chip isn't overly cheap (if you can find it). Maybe when I verify it I'll release an easier to read schem Si

DOD Meatbox

It's still in my pile of pedals to finish! . It's a big 'ol job. If I complete it, it sounds how I want, it's going to be up there with the Mantic pricing. High parts count (and so therefore build time), obsolete parts, it's not a cheap undertaking Si

Another Poultone Trooper prototype (Ver 2.0) for your consideration: Si
10. Yup, looks really great! It'll be a great workhorse for sure! Si
11.
Bassist Answer: Leave it, the music is in the space. Bass Player Answer: An overdrive, octave or volume boost pedal.
The trick is knowing when to choose one, and when to choose the other! Si

13. Thanks Noirbass! Right, mega update is live. Including all the above additions I've missed recently, as well as unit numbers for the Taiwanese models Plus I've added my latest one :-P Please do keep adding yours, and if you've purchased it recently, please do check the database in case its already added and I need to change the owner Si

New TC mini pedals
Problem with the feature is you can't correct the tempo while playing. So say you set it to your drummer, then start playing. Inevitably it will go off-sync. With normal tap tempo you can keep correcting it as you play, with this feature you can't because it mutes you (unless you have some pauses in your playing along the way).
Yeah, thought there might be a downside I still might take a look at one, but not in a massive hurry, my DM-3 is doing a fine job currently. Si
15. Also see my comments in the Octaver thread Si
16. Well theres two transistors there, not opamps. I don't think the Animato has been de-boxed from a DIY perspective, I can't see a schematic on a real quick Google search. There are a few clones floating around, however how close these are to the original I don't know. Si
17. There are people here who already own one, however if mine comes before they can do a demo, I'll get one up asap Si
18. I don't suppose anyone is bringing a 3Leaf Audio Enabler that I can borrow for the day? I'm using mine on the FX stand, but would be cool to have two on the go Si

Octaver?

OC-3 doesn't have an octave up, but it does has a fairly poor fuzz/drive option :-/ I don't get people's problem with the OC-2 tracking, I often successfully have it tracking down to A at gigs. With a P-bass though, so nice and solid, round input. Si
20. Just remember that the OC-3 doesn't sound like the OC-2 at all. Do yourself a favour and just buy the OC-2 Si

New TC mini pedals

Very interested in the mini flashback. Anyone have experience of the audio-tap function? Works well? Si
22.
How come you put the tuner at the end Si?
It ensures that you completely cut any signal to your amp. Tuner first cuts signal to your pedals, but if there's any noise or hum generated by your pedals, that'll still go to your amp. The only issue with tuner at the end is if you have a lot of effects 'always on', you might not get a great note for the tuner to track. But with a small setup like this, not an issue. Si
23. Used this over the weekend for a festival show: Fromel modded Boss CE-2B -> Blakemore Deus Ex Machina -> DOD FX-10 Bi-Fet Pre -> Boss OC-2 -> Boss TU-2 Si

Octaver?

Mines got a special loop Si
