Yes, sorry^^ i am really busy at the Moment. This bass is so one of a kind that i would be surprised if it is not the one of germany:) Nice bass indeed, hope you enjoy it

Sunbeams + Fender = Win. Sunbeams + G&L = Meh

Sunbeams and JB is the best combination in my ears -
I do not think that the bass gets lost in the mix. I pressume your ears try to find the bass sound in the mix, where you are used to find it. I had the same "problem" while i switch from vintage p basses to a 68 tele. The play different roles soundwise, are located different in the mix. The sc is not so aggressive, is more restrained than the splitcoil. I love them both

In the 80s Ampeg did those SVT Skunkwork reissue heads with a run of 500 pieces. Does anyone got an idea what those heads are worth nowadays? Soundwise, what is the difference to the actual SVT or a 70s SVT? Thanks for your help in advance

i would try dr lorider steel(!)maybe the 110, really long lasting and good for rock and plec sound... or if you prefer coated, i would give the elixirs a try did you consider flatwounds?seems paradox to your preference..but maybe with d´addario chromes you will hold a brighter level for a long time, also you get a hard punch and attack with plec in a rock context
It seems buying a cheap soldering iron produces cheap results. I'm having trouble melting the solder in the two unconnected terminal on the output jack (see below) - it just wont melt!
As far as i know, it has nothing to do with cheap. Due to RoHS certifications, they have to change the consistency of solder. So if you are having a weak soldering rod, the solder will not melt as usual. I did have the same problem before with some solder i bought new
........ and the fact that I use P'shop on a daily basis is mere coincidence. Another part of the factory, showing Lemmy Sig cabs being made;
Lemmy is not doing it himself???Or did you just forget to put him into the pic?

These are betrayers. We have a lot of problems with those people here in germany, maybe it is a well organized and structured gang. It is always the same profile. mostly english or spanish names and emailadresses. they send you the money and after that, someone comes to pick it up from you..2 days later the bank transfer is invalid and the money is taken away from your account. so you do not have an instrument/amp etc anymore and no money as well..ripped sometimes they just want your bank details so the use them in another deal to get a third member´s item. kind of really popular at the moment. please do not do the deal..you will regret it. Maybe also interesting in this thread Ebay Scam
